Syns in a pint of Guinness?

My dear husband has stopped loosing weight and I'm getting him to keep a food and drink diary as I'm convinced that his problem is the alcohol that he is drinking! I'm trying to work out syn values for the last few days but cannot find anything online about how many syns are in a pint of Guinness at the pub, only the cans? Could anyone help?

8 or 9 depending on the type of Guinness
