Cooking in bulk

Last time I did loads of veggie lasagne and loads of spicy BNS and sweet potato soup.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for foods to cook in bulk? It makes my life easier in the long run! :)

Thanks x

I make big batches of the superspeed soup

mixed beans ( either tinned or dried beans such as kidney, cannelini, haricot )
some chopped trimmed bacon, an onion, garlic, celery.
Add passata and herbs if you like. Freezes well

I make veg & lentil soup in bulk

2 x asda fresh stew pack
1 x cup of red lentils
Veg stock to taste

Boil in a saucepan for 2-3 hrs. You can eat as is or you can blend it which is also nice.

I also make beef & mushroom curry in a large pot (makes about 6-8 portions)

Bolognaise is another good option or chilli con carne.

Asda sell the little plastic take away containers cheap so I always make extra and throw some in them ready to freeze.

Thanks everyone - food for thought :)
