Oat So Simple

I have the single pack Sultanas, raisans apples, cranberry flavour which I think is 7.5 syns per pack for my breakfast. Can I use this as my HE instead of the porridge oats and just count 1.5 syns towards my daily syns. Am new to this and not sure how it works......

Also have bought this week the Dorset Cereal single packs which is cranberry and raspberry.... can anyone please tell me how many syns these are and if I could use this as my HE....

Thank you very much.

I don't know about the second one, but as far as I'm aware, it's only the plain Oatso Simple that's a B choice! It's not as straight forward as just adding the extra syns! It's all to do with fibre etc

You can use the dorset cereals cranberry & raspberry porridge as your Hex B (30g pack) - it's one of my fav flavours :) The hex checker on the SW website used to say you should have a ryvita too but they've removed that part now, it's still on some of the other dorset porridges though - not sure exactly about that bit.

The fiber is the same oin the plain and the falvoured ones with the oat so simple :D

If it was as easy as that, why are a) the sun values different and b) only the original as a B choice? Unless it's changed in the last week and they've not updated the lists

unfortunately it isnt just about fibre. SW carefully select the Healthy Extras by a number of factors. The flavoured ones will have a high sugar content as well as other differences compared to the plain one.

Only the healthy extras listed by slimming world qualify, there is no substituting, guessing or deducting of syns allowed unless clearly stated by slimming world in the list. If only it was that easy.
