Hi Haley. i'm not sure about this one as vinegar contains citric acid which I beleive is a no-no. However, I see that vinegar is included in the condiments list. I too would like to know about balsamic vinegar as it offers great flavouring in small amounts. I'm currently using a balasmic based light options dressing on my veg at mo but keeping it limited to the 3 x teaspoons daily that the "My Journey" book.
I've only just started Lite and funnily enough I fancied a bit of balsamic vinagar to accompany 2 tspns of olive oil to make a nice salad dressing... perfect for summer!! I contacted my counsellor who advised balsamic is fine! It's included in the vinegar condiments.
I think you can have a tablespoon or two of it - obviously not too much, but a little is fine. I had some on my salads, didn't affect teh weight loss for me!
