starting today, exciting

Hi everyone,
Just thought I would say hello to you all as I have taken the plunge and am starting Exante today. My food pack for the month should be here between 1 and 2pm.
I have 5 stone to shift, so its not gonna happen for a while, but it IS gonna happen, Im feeling so motivated, nothing can stop it happening but me.
I am 13 stone 12, the biggest ive ever been, so now its time to sort myself out. Ive been putting weight on for the last 5 years after moving back to the UK. Now its gonna STOP.
Im just hoping the shakes and soups taste ok cos thats what Im gonna be living on for the next 5 months or so.
Also, does anyone have any links to how to introduce food back into your diet once you reach your desired weight?
Thanks for reading

Welcome to Mini's and Exante! Good luck xx

Hi maltesegirl

I started on the 8th March at 14.2 with over 4 1/2 stone to lose (quite similar to you) I am now 4 weeks in and 12.11 so don't worry about it taking too long, time definitely flies when you are on Exante :D
Welcome and good luck!!!

Hi Im new and in my first week and hopefully you will have got your box delivered by now!

Welcome maltese girl & shrug it off. It's amazing how quickly you'll see the weight start to disappear on this diet. Hope the first few days go quickly for you and you're soon into ketosis and feeling fab!
Good luck :)

Good luck :)

I second that, I started 12 weeks ago and have shed over 4 stone so it may feel like forever but when you look back it feels like only a month not 3! Keep ya chin up and stick 100% to plan and you could be there before you know it... Keep coming by to chat won't you? Xx

Welcome! I have to agree with everyone else tomorrow is the start of week 6 for me. It feels like I've been doing this for about 2 though lol.

Goodluck.. Trust us, your starting weight will be long gone in a few weeks time :D

Thanks for all your welcomes!!
I had to start today rather then yesterday cos the box of delights didnt arrive until 4pm, but I was starving, so ate lunch.
But I have started today, had a choc milkshake for breakfast, it seemed like it needed to be sweetened tho, annyone else found this? Maybe I will just get used to it.#
Had a bar for lunch, werent the best to be honest, but Im not bothered, I will still eat them as I have a month of the blighters!!!

The bars are really handy for when you're out.... I missed mine when I didn't have them although I do agree they aren't the same as a hobnob :) Dont' worry, your tastebuds change quite quickly and then it'll be 'normal' food that tastes sweet! Good luck with it :)
