so disappointed :-(

Hi everyone,
I had to post as I am so disheartened.
I started on xenical on thursday, and my starting weight was 117.9kg.

So i am on day 5 and thought I was doing well, went and had a cheeky weigh in and i am only 116.6kg....thats a really disappointing loss of 2lbs in 5 days.

I literally cried, because i have gone from being a binge eater, to cutting everything out junk food wise, my portion size has decreased a lot, i don't know what I am doing wrong?

I have even started exercising too.

Can anyone offer any support??

Thanks in advance,
Donna:cry:

Donna thats a great loss.......don't be disheartened hunny:)

we are only meant to lose between 1-2lbs a week thats a healthy loss

When people have more weight to lose they can achieve big losses at first then it slows to 1-2lbs also

to burn a lb of fat it takes 3,500 calories to burn.........its gonna be hard work hun but your on the right track....yippee i am very happy for you xxxx

forgot to mention your doing everything right hunny ....be pleased with yourself ...if you add all those pounds up over a year you will be surprised :)

not everybody gets a great loss immeadiately either, i did better in my second week than my first as i think my body struggled to adapt to the drastic change in diet x

2lb in 5 days is fantastic and you are on track ....stop stressing its working hunny xxx

i bet you get a surprise when you weigh after a week ;)

you are doing just fine so don't despair.

i want to lose 7 lbs every week but......just not possible so i am just happy to lose a bit and not gain. :)

i keep thinking i'm not doing good but i am sure to hit my 1st stone loss this weekend ........:party0011::party0011::woohoo:

ps - are you really 12 ft ??????..................lol xx

we have to remember how many years our weight took to get there.....so why to we expect it to go overnight .......

2lbs is fantastic in 5 days....you wait after a month when you weigh in you will be surprised xxx

2lbs in five days is a great loss!! Well done!!

If you carry on with a loss rate like that, when you back to your doctors in a month's time, then your stats will be brilliant!! Don't forget though that everyone is different when it comes to losing weight, it comes off each us at different rates.

Well done on your loss so far, please please don't stress that you've not lost as much as you thought you had, stressing is not good for weightloss!

Keep it up - looking forward to hearing how you get on at the doctors for your next weigh in!

aww thanks all, you've all made me feel much better x
i am not giving up because thats all i have ever done and one of the reasons i am like i am, its easier to put it on than it is to lose it. so onwards and upwards :) xx
