not the whole weight watcher plan in general.
but the fact that im 18 years old..and when i get together with my friends.. they like the alcohol & the pizzas & crisps & Chinese and all that kind of stuff.
& i know theres the weeklys to fall back on ,but firstly, the weeklys arent gonna cover everything, and secondly im finding the temptation really hard!
i try to eat like maybe 1 slice of pizza, and one maybe 2 alcopops and a bit of chocolate.. but its there and my friends are eating / drinking it without a care in the world ( lucky them! ) but i just want a bit of motivation on how to resist the temptation, but still feel like im included on the fun without holding back!
any tips? :(

This is really hard spritezero. It's hard when you see friends digging in and you are trying to maintain discipline especially if you don't want to make a big issue that you're trying to lose weight. The friends you see eating may have not eaten much the rest of the day so don't think they can eat anything they want and it's not fair.. That will only lead you to eat what you would prefer to avoid..

It's primarily a case of mind over matter to resist this temptation. If you tell yourself enough times you don't want pizza, you will eventually automatically keep refusing. It's almost like self hypnosis. At the start it's desperately hard... But soooo worth it! Try to develop some tricks, such as arriving a little late so that your friends will have started to eat and slightly cold food isn't as appealing, or maybe have some food and avoid the alcohol as nothing goes nicer with beer than crisps! Or tell your friends you're on a detox or allergic to certain ingredients so they will help you. This is just from my own experience.. I've found if I said I were on a diet, friends would say I looked great and persuade me to have some goodies. However if I said i was allergic they would leave me to it! Result!!

It is hard to lose weight at such a young age but imagine what fabulous outfits you can wear during all of your 20s if you get to the size you want. There will be no better feeling. I guarantee you! Good luck!

wow, thankyou !!
my friends know me a bit too well to know that i cant be allergic to any of the stuff, and they know im on a ww but they just convince me that i can " have a treat once in a while " and even though thats true, i dont think consuming an extra 100 points every week is " a treat! " .. but turning up a bit later can sometimes work! apart from when we all meet at my house, but with all of the tips support motivation and advice from everyone here im sure i can resist and say no! maybe have some pizza with them once a month, rather than once a week!.. and i will keep saying no i dont want it, and hopefully it will work !! and yes, thats what ive been keeping in my head the whole time.. the amazing outfits !!! :D
thankyou again!! i will defo be taking your advice !! x

I struggle with this too, and I must admit I have been known to slip, but I've just had to find some willpower inside me to say no. I also make sure I munch on fruit and have some low PP snacks with me.
I have no idea if this is the case with your friends, but I know I have some friends who are jealous, and I think subconsciously try to sabotage me, saying things like "just one won't hurt... You can have a day off... Etc". I went bridesmaid dress shopping with said friends the other day, and while they had to order size 20s, I ordered a size 12. Of course I didn't say anything, but inside I was buzzing and it reminded me why I don't just stuff my faces when they do :)

yeah! i think my friends are sort of like that, some of my bigger friends are always like " just have some, it wont hurt..etc. "
but also, i get it off my slim friends to because they dont understand!!
but thats what i want, i want to be slim and happy and know that i worked hard for the body i'll have and that i can say no!
not be happy for 10 minutes while i eat this pizza, then be sad becuse im not losing weight!

wow, well done,i would of been buzzing too!! bet your friends felt a bit thing aswell .. so they may try and follow in your footsteps and see how hard it actually is! and not try to sabotage your diet !! :)
