I have done all the diets you could think of and im still about 7 stone overweight. As im too busy to attend a group meeting i am thinking of joining weight watchers online . Has anyone had much sucsess with this i would really like your help.

Hi Nix, So what is likely to be different this time? You will still face that ever present situation of temptation and failure. right?!

I am doing a very old version of WW combined with Cal counting and of course no meetings. My mindset from the beg was to alter the way I treat myself regarding The "falling off the wagon" or " failing to keep to the diet" bit! What you have to ask yourself firstly is - Do I really want to do this? No doubt you will say - of course! So secondly, will I treat myself kindly and recognise that I am only human. So when you are tempted -ENJOY the moment! Don't immediately label yourself as a failure - it happens to the best of us. Then it will make it soo much easier to step back onto the wagon and keep going.
All the very best to you and will be looking in now and again to see how you are getting on, okay?....:)

Personally I didn't think the online membership gave me anything. If you have the books/calculator you can point eveything, IMO their forums are a shambles and very cliquey, and I just didnt find any benefit to it at all. The esource feature is shockingly inaccurate

With the money youd spend, get a calculator, Shopping guide, Eating out guide and use Minimins :)

Oh and if you're doing Discover and not pro points then there is absolutely no point in taking the online membership out. It's PP based now so your diary/points calculator etc will be no use to you

Thankyou ladies. After reading through some threads i think i may do the discover plan but when i go on the website they only sell books and calculaters for the pp diet so how would i go about getting them for dicovery?

Starlight I agree that the website is useless for Discovery and I did not find it helpful the little time I was on PP either. I have the old points calc on my Android phone and I have the eating out and shop guides which work well for me

Can i ask what the android calculator is called please? Is it available for iPhone too as i was on pp and used esoyrce but now I've cancelled and I'm doing discovery and would like one on my phone
Thanks Abi x
