FEELING SO HEALTHY & WELL

Dear all,

Before starting Lipotrim and then subsequently Exante I often felt bloated, generally off colour, sluggish and I also had the worst acid relux problem but I really just put that this down to being overweight. I can honestly say that almost as soon as I hit ketosis I never felt better in all aspects. I instantly had so much energy and felt LIGHT........if anyone can understand that??????? I must point out that at that point I was still overweight but all the symtoms disappeared. My conclusion for this and I feel this has been backed up by my recent holiday is that I have an intolerence to carbs. Whilst on holiday I generally overindulged on all the tasty things that I felt I was missing out on whilst on Exante. More or less straight away I began to feel bloated & lifeless and the acid reflux returned............and don't forget this time I was slim. So in conclusion I believe that all of these horrible symtoms were/are FOOD related & not WEIGHT related. I just wanted to tell you this in case there are any waiverers out there with possibly all or some of the same symptoms who are thinking about giving up who if you just persevere will end up feeling so much better as I do. Don't give up ladies it is all worth it to get a life!!!!!!:)

It's great that you're starting to be able to identify what's causing the problems. A few years back I did a food elimination diet, to identify what was triggering my asthma. It's probably an easy thing to try from exante, as you're basically on a clean diet, where you know you're well. Then I had to introduce one food at a time. When I introduced the food I would eat a little on day one, a bit more on day two and lots on day three, to see what provokes the problem,I found it worked really well to pinpoint exactly which foods were trouble for me (unfortunately it was wheat, corn etc, so like you, the carbs!)

Well done on your weightloss bernice...and I couldn't agree more with your post!!
When I was doing LL last year, I felt fantastic!!
I too feel awful when I eat processed carbs...especially pasta/rice/white bread...makes me feel lethargic and sluggish. Im back on Exante and today.. 4th day on packs... starting to feel that little buzz again! I am going to continue with Atkins woe when I get the majority of my weigh off...it makes sense to eat 'clean and green' ( Thats Jim's saying...hes an Atkins star!)

Yep exactly same here
Just hoping to god I am not intolerant to wine :( lol

I have blood sugar problems that carbs seem to make a lot worse, so I know what you mean. It's nice to realise what a problem is attributed to! You sound really positive :)
