Im in the same boat (kind of!) I'm 5'2 and jst under 16 stone. I've decided not to follow a specific set diet and just use common sense, I figure this will be easier to follow when the weight has gone than trying to come off shakes etc and eat a 'normal' diet. Where do you live? There's a site called Gumtree . On there you will find all sorts of people looking to buy things/selling stuff/looking for people for whatever reason, some looking for gym partners etc so you might have some luck on there.
