Going it alone

Have decided that I am going to go it alone for a bit, life is so busy at the moment that I just dont have the time, energy or money to keep going to class just now. I was doing so well, I know that my head was back into it 100% again and I felt great. I've been off the waggon a bit for the last few days with a combination of TOTM and a busy weekend, but prepared for a fresh start again tomorrow. I have bought the 30 Day Shred DVD to give it a try - waiting a few days to let my cramps subside. Bit scared of it to be honest!!

So will need the support of you guys over the next wee while, still hoping to get to my first target of 12 stone by the start of May - any chance of losing 9lb in just over a month?!?

Hi hun!

I just this second wrote a post about wi's at home! I feel the same as you - too much going on to get to class etc, and really feel that with the support on here that maybe I can do it at home, so to speak.

What days are you going to weigh? I have decided on Monday's (hopefuly in the morning for optimum 'lightness' which will be a change from being hungry all day and then 7pm wi's!)

It is * week for me too, and I've had a really rubbish couple of weeks and two gains. ick! But this week was on plan 100% (including a meal out) and trusted the plan and lost 5lbs! Yess!

I have also just posted in the 'April challange' and I definitely want to get at least 6lbs off by the end of April (to take me to my stone award) .. but am also going holiday.. so I think 9lb is achievable for you!!

And - (if you need any more of my waffle ) I have 30DayShred, and weights (I gave up on day 4 ) and am eager to restart it!!

So you've just found yourself another buddy.. going it 'alone' did you say? ha.. bet you wish you hadn't posted now :p

GOOD LUCK!!! :vibes:

I too am going alone! Yes its easier to 'have a day off' now and then, but I find this site is really helping me! Plus what I am saving on fees I can spend on nice fresh food! I have fell off the wagon (Xmas) and never got back on until now, but I am gonna do it!!!!
Good luck Daisyboo!
Dont forget to check out britmums site, slimmingeats.com, it is FANTASTIC!!!!!

Hey weight loss buddy!! :D I'm thinking of sticking to Mondays for weigh ins - gives me the whole week to be good and try to save syns for the weekend - that mentality works for me usually anyway!! I need to invest in a new pair of scales though, ours are cheapy pair from Ikea that we got nearly 10 years ago - you jump on and off and get a different weight each time (I pick the one I like the best and stick with that )

I have a Pampered Chef party to do on Saturday but the host has picked fishy recipes and I *hate* fish so no temptation to nibble! Other than that nothing on so I can concentrate on being good and its just been pay day so have plenty of £ in the bank to restock my fridge with yummy healthy things.

Thanks so much for replying so quick - making me much less scared of 'going it alone' :p
