I know this has been asked a hundred times and there is no real answer, but interested in peoples' experiences all the same.

I went for my first wedding dress fitting today, but am 5 inches away from it doing it. I've already lost nearly that from hips, so have to do it again!

I am probably going to go for another fitting in 5 weeks. Oh how I wish an inch a week was achievable.

I do know I can lose a stone in 5 weeks though, so after a stone, what have your inch losses been like?

I wonder how many inches lipo could take off and whether I could sell anything to fund this too!!! Like a leg.

Hi ya I had lipo dun a 16 month ago n ong I've because know pain like it !! It was horrendous , I've had 2 kids n would rather do chilbirth anytime over that ha ha , I did lose inches but defs wud not recommend it

What about getting the inch loss wraps? I know someone who had similar issues with their wedding dress - they were a 10 and ordered an 8... Inch loss wrap saved the day.

More affordable and less intrusive than lipo xx

My starting waist measurement was 50 inches, 6 stone later and it's now 39 inches - so for me it's roughly 2 inches per stone, or roughly a dress size.

Thanks guys. Bought some of those wraps and they're okay, but to be honest I think they get rid of water weight and on this diet your glycogen stores are depleted, so not sure they do much! Sometimes after measuring I have lost a bit, but it doesn't last.
Cybill - I had a funny feeling it was about that for me last time. So really need to lose 2.5 stone. That would make me very happy, but not sure it's achievable. Think I'll get them to change it to a lace up back, which I prefer anyway, and then not panic and just get on with the diet and pray!...to the wedding weight loss gods

I think a lace up back is a great idea I'm thinking of doing that as we are planning the wedding and reception over a week apart and I have a feeling it may need letting out lmao

The lace up back sounds a great plan, a lot more forgiving, and would also mean you could keep dieting all the way to the day! Good luck

Thanks guys, yeah think I will go with that. Will get them to lace it but in the same size that it is, so that I can slim until the day like you say.

Done a new chart for my inches this morning - am obsessed! Measured everything and will check them every fortnight. Also got into the 12s today!!! Woohoo, very pleased. Be even more pleased when I get into the 11s.

The 12's is a brilliant achievement, that's fantastic! I'm sure the 11's won't be far behind.
