Hi all, does anybody know the best cough medicine for you when you're in ketosis? I've got a horrible cough and just can't seem to get rid of it! X

Something sugar free if you can find it - a lot of children's cough syrup will be sugar free. Might be worth asking at the chemist.

Though generally, cough medicine isn't terribly effective. You might be just as well off keeping your fluids up - lots of hot drinks.

Thank you lily, it kept me up all night last night and yesterday I had a coughing fit which I couldn't come back from which turned into a mild asthma attack... Just wish it would go :-( x

You poor thing. I had a cough all over Christmas like that, not funny at all. You get so tired and that only makes it feel even worse. Have you got an inhaler for your asthma?

Yeah I've got two for it and it's so rare that I need them. All I want to do is go to sleep, an impossibility with a three year old! X

Robitussin is sugar free my mum has it and she is diabetic.
