I had a really **** day at work and usually buy fried chicken to ease me into the weekend but I didnt. Stress from work made my IBS played up and I gave in. I had 2 rice cakes and 3 slices of cheddar!!! :eek:
They calmed me down and sorted my stomach, but now Im angry with my self for giving in and its making me and my tummy upset again.
Grrrrr
I wanna scream and break things but think I'll just go to bed.:cry:
 
Ahh Harle, don't lose hope! These kind of days are definately going to be a struggle and sometimes we'll succeed and others we won't.... As long as you pick yourself up and start afresh again in the morning, it'll all be good! You've lost a stone in 2 weeks!!! I'll be thrilled if that happens for me. You're doing great just jump back on the horse again girl and it'll work for you. Positive thinking and all that jazz does work and will work for you :)
 
Next time just have the cheese and maybe a couple of slices of ham or chicken! Seriously, you won't have done that much damage but try to remember how you feel now and hopefully that will help you stay strong if you're having a wobble in the future. In the event of any future emergency, go for protein and stay off the carbs.
 
You're not the first one who falls of the wagon Harle so please don't beat yourself up on it! Just put it behind you, take a deep breath and start afresh tomorrow. You CAN do it! xxx
 
Ive messed up 2 times now and have gone straight back 100% its the best thing to do. If u do mess up just have protein. Thats what i did and i managed to stay in ketosis. I worked through my problems and emotions without being harsh on myself and forgave myself and moved on. My head is now in a better place and fortunately i feel im in a position to move on. You can do it too you have got to believe in urself! :)
 
Thanks guys! just writing that down made me feel a bit better. and the responses from you all are taking care of the rest. ^__^
