plssss help shed some light.....

started RC today. following the 1200 cal diet for 2 weeks.but im confused on it, mainly on the recipes in magazines,one in particular its around 265 cals for the dish, but main meals around 400, so that would be alot of veg to make up the cals? as it said add additional veg excluding pots.i dont get this or how to make it up?can anyone help on this? its also same with the solo meals, alot are around 250-300 cals but again need loads and loads veg to make up!!:confused:

or do i not need worry about it til im on my own plan , after ive done the phases???

I am also on my first week and was told to follow the green booklet you are given. It does give guidelines in there what you should have etc..
 
yeah following that, mean for later on in the programme,was reading up on it but meals still around 400cals. just youd need loads veg to make up the cals?oh i dont know, think im trying to run before i can walk, so best take it phase at a time lol x

I only use the receipes and guide lines. I try to stick to 400 call meals, so either some rice or potato, maybe a salad beforehand, or an extra desert! yum!
 
dont panic bout recipes for now just stick to your green book that will see you through keep it nice and simple till you get in the swing of things, just make sure you stick to the less than 5% rule, the first two weeks i ate alot of ready meals but also in the green book the chicken pasta is nice and the pork chops in chinese five spice.
