More questions....again...;)

Firstly, I'm just wondering if any of you lovely people know the minimum amount of time on each calorie plan? Do they vary with each one? Are they all one week?

Also, how do you still lose weight when increasing your calorie intake with each plan step?

Lastly, do you think it's possible for me to lose my last 20lbs in 2 months...if I dont have any blips at all?? Money will be very tight come the beginning June, so will have to settle for what weight I have lost already.

Any information would be great

Im not sure about your other questions but you should easily be able to loose 20 llbs in 2 months

good luckx

HI :)

There is no minimum amount of time of any of the plans , the only time restriction is you cannot do more than 12 weeks on SS without a 810 week . But you can do any plan for as short time as you like

you ask how you still loose weight .. well the average lady needs 2000 ccalories to maintain weight , so any calories below this will show weight loss , but working up the plans properly you will introduce carbs in slowly and shouldnt gain ( although some do the first week ) and then will continue loosing .

as for the loosing 20 lb in 2 months , it all depends what plan you are on , you can do SS down to BMI of 25 then 810 to goal if you want to , which averages at 12 lb a month loss so yes you can do it

hope that helps a little

Thanks so much for your help again. Just had a little look around the Cambridge Diet website and at the bottom of the plans it has the minimum amount of time spent on each plan which is 2 weeks each for 1000, 1200 and 1500.
If I could hopefully lose 12lbs on the 810 in 4 weeks and spend the next 6 weeks moving through 1000, 1200 and 1500 to lose the remaining 8lbs I could be finished by mid June…which I think I could manage. I know the most important thing is too move through the steps though, so I might as well see it through

My BMI, as of today is now ‘normal’ (YAY!!) so will be moving onto 810 when I see my CDC on Tuesday.

My CDC tells me that the minimum amount of time on each plan is very loose is because most people put on weight for up to 2 or 3 weeks as they make each step up and are advised to stay on that step until they have stabilised (ie lost the gain and then a pound or to more over a couple of weeks, because after the initial step up gain, you should still be losing weight up to 1500cals (but no where near as much as on SS or 810). We were looking at it for me and she said from her experience of customers who had followed the steps up and maintained I would realistically be looking at 2-3 weeks on 810 and 100 and then 3-4 weeks at 1200 and 1500. So all in all to shift the last stone she reckons it will lake between 2 and 3 months. certainly looking at how my losses have slowed as I have got closer to goal I am inclined to think she might be right (even though i would like to get there a lot faster!)

Thanks Setas....understand it a bit better now.
Think what I will have to do is spend 3-4 weeks on 810 then use the remaining 6 weeks moving up the rest. Hopefully this will be enough not to put any gains on whilst on the higher plans. Think if I just try to eat a sensible diet and exercise more once I have finished all the plans....I can lose whatever I have left to target.

sounds like a good plan - just don't be disappointed if a couple of lbs go on when you reintroduce carbs - you will balance out again 9or at least thats what i'll be pinning my hopes on!) Good luck
