Anyone else on here planning to do the Race for Life this year? At the group I go to a load of us ladies have decided to do it together and have even started up a running club with the help of a local personal trainer to try and get ready for it.

Hi Cherry-Blossom me and my friend (and SW buddy) have signed up for one on 15th May. Don't think we'll be able to run the whole thing but we'll give it our best shot!

and I am doing it here in Spain on the 3rd of April but know I will be walking it. I am doing it with a friend and we are really looking forward to it. It is in aid of a cancer charity here as well.

I'm doing the Cardiff one in July with some friends - although I will be about 29 weeks pregnant so I can safely say I will be waddling the course!!

Hiya

I am doing a 10K RFL on June 11th in Milton Keynes. running about 6-7K at the mo in an hour, so hoping by June I will be able to do the full 10 in maybe an hour and 15 mins?

That's brilliant Nat. At the moment my main inspiration is my Aunt. She is currently having chemo for breast cancer yet she is planning on walking the race for life. If she can walk it then I can sure as heck jog it!

My OH's father has hodgkins lymphoma (is sadly terminal) and my mum's best friend passed away last year from ovarian cancer, so I run for both of them xx
