Starting Tomorrow!!

Hello everyone,
I have been a long time Atkins dieter but have been falling off the waggon a lot lately, and I figured its time for a change. I was also worried about the long term effects of eating all that fat. I tend to loose weight on low carb, but my weaknesses are cake and chocolate:sigh:. I've ordered the Dukan book of Amazon this morning but will start cutting out the junk I've been feeding my body from tomorrow - that way when my book does arrive I will be strong enough to stick to the plan.

I'm always a little scared when someone says they're starting tomorrow, but don't yet have the book, particularly if they're moving from Atkins which is so very different!

Do you have oatbran? How many days' attack will you be doing? Do you have your first menus ready?

While this diet isn't rocket science by any stretch of the imagination, the principles are so very different, I'd urge you to read read as much as you can here if you're not waiting for the book to arrive...

Hi and welcome. Just a word of caution - this diet isn't good for those who fall off the wagon - it really is quite strict and to get the results you need to follow the rules pretty strictly. So, you need to knock falling off the wagon on the head!
 
As mouse says any low carb diet is bad for falling off the wagon!
 
Thank you for your welcome ladies! Amazon says my book has been dispatched so fingers crossed I receive it in the next couple of days. I will be gradually cutting out the carbs starting today then start the diet after I've read the book and. I've got quite a lot of information on here and also from reading other forums.

I have visited the dunkan website and got all the info about my duration of attack etc.
