Feeling full up....

Has anyone else noticed this after being on PP for a short while? Last week, I ordered my half of our usual Chinese Takeaway, but couldnt manage the chicken balls (bearing in mind as I am on nights, I had only had a yogurt drink all day), Saturday I went to the Harvester for a meal out, had a Harvester Burger and a Lemon Blizzard Sundae in mind, but was too full after the burger and yesterday i did homemade fish n chips but had to leave a portion of fish on the plate as once again i was too full??

Not sure what to think about this, on the one hand its great i am eating less, on the other I am worried that not eating all my dailies will hinder my weight loss somehow (I have 5pp left from yesterday).

Had a big salad in mind for todays tea (3 boiled eggs, 6 mini quorn eggs, jacket potato, 3 slices ham and 2 low fat cheese slices), but am getting nervous i wont manage it all.....:(

Hi. I wouldn't worry about being full up after a big burger and some Chinese. To me that shows you are just eating until satisfied rather than stuffed. If you are worried about not finishing your salad maybe leave out an egg or something and go for full fat cheese and oil or salad dressing to make up your points. Go for quality rather than quantity :)

Hi susicab, yes I have also noticed this. I think it's the stomach shrinking as it gets used to smaller portions on a more regular basis. Its amazing when it first happens as it would never have happened me before as I happily munched through takeaway meals without a thought and maybe would have contemplated something sweet for afters!!

I've noticed this too, especially with my lunches, I'll eat a small sandwich, an apple and a banana and feel really full. Amazing, as I have always been one for big portions!
