Hi all,

Well I have been scrolling the internet and come accross this crash diet that says you can loose a STONE on 7 days......OMG can this be, so I have decided to give it a go. Many of you may think its a bit too drastic but get this, im 24 years old weight 17 stone 2 lbs and im 5' 7 1/2. Surely this is more dangerous than doing the diet for a week.

This morning I had my breakfast which was tinned tomatoes on toast, was actually very delicious and i decided to buy some seeded bread just to give it a bit of extra taste. I decided to have that at 11am as I never feel hungry in the morning but always want to snack in the evening so if i start later i will finish later, hopefully stopping me from wanting to snack. I have drank nearly a litre of water already and some lemon juice and a green tea.

Going to have my lunch soon between 2.30 - 3pm which consists of as much fruit as i want, so ive bought a prepared salad bowl and will be tucking into that.

Would really love some support on here as I cant get it anywhere else and I know that i may start to find it difficult.

Thanks all

xx :D

Good luck shining star. Im sure if you stick to the diet this week you will achieve a great weight loss. What you also need to think about is what your going to do in regards to eating plan after the week is up. The last thing you want is to put it all back on again! :)

Unfortunately the danger with these 'fad' diets is the moment you come off them, you gain weight again. Most of them are pretty unhealthy too. Youd be far better following a proper diet plan. If its your first week youll get a good loss whatever you do.

Good Luck hunni :)

I have tried diets like this but i have found i always put the weight back on + extra as i am so starving by barely eating all week that i over eat!

I am the same age as you though so hope it works out for you!

Good luck :)

I've tried countless diets, including lose weight super quick ;) for me unfortunately it just made me hungry and crave all sorts after the first week, so I failed!

As starlight mentioned, in your first week of a new diet, you tend to have a big loss anyway, and it spurns you on to keep on track the following week. Without sounding like I'm blowing my own trumpet ;), I started this, my final diet 4 weeks ago, and through healthy eating and a mountain of willpower ...I lost 12lbs in 2 weeks, I've now lost 19lb in total as I take on week 5! lol, I am older and heavier than you, so if it works for me?????.......:)

I look forward to reading your progress, good luck again!

This.

Also I have to wonder: What is the rationale behind your diet - How exactly do you intend to lose 7lbs a week and why do you expect it will be sucessful?

Good luck :)
