hiya.....well im due for my 4th wi and am currently weighing in at 2.5lb MORE than when i started, last wi was my fault (gained), but the plan hadn't really been giving me results before....anyway after my meeting, we figured im probably not eating enough ?!?!?!?!?!?! however my meals arent huge but arent tiny either, yes i get hungry about an hour or so after dinner/lunch etc, but surely being hungry isnt so bad ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! my leader told me to eat more........have huge dinners etc,but im terrified of eating more, im not losing weight as it is,the last thing i want to do is start eating more and risk gaining etc....

average brekkie : 2 eggs boiled, 2 toast, maybe some fruit (1 aplle,4 strawberries,half dozen grapes)and mullerlight

average lunch : 1 chicken breast, 3 lean bacon medallions and salad (salad consists of about 4/5 Romaine lettuce leaves, 1 inch chunck of cucmber, 3 cherry tomatoes)

average dinner : chicken stir fry, 1 chicken breast, half an onion, 4 mushrooms, half a pepper and 1 whole bag of beansprouts.....maybe 3 bits of brocolli..

obviously i have my healthy extras and my syns average 12 a day, used on spread, mayo, sauce etc......

i so desperately want this plan to work, but my scales have not moved again...all im doing is crying every day :cry:and trying to so hard to get it right, would you say im eating enough, not enough ??????

any help, thoughts, ideas would be really really really appreciated...thanks :)

I would be starving I think only eating that but then maybe I eat too much.....why not up the salad and veggies....I never measure them just bung loads on and make my plate look full. For me it's all in my head and I need to see loads of food so my brain says 'yeah bring it on' If I have mushrooms I probably have 8/9 just for me..a huge wodge of them...and 3 bits of brocolli....erm nope I haven't got a pan that little so in goes about 8/9 bits of that too....my plates and usually bulging but I always try and keep it 1/3 superfree so that I can have huge plate loads. ;)

You probably have more for breakfast than I do though which is good and something I am trying to rectify.

thanks, see this is where im getting so confused on how much to actualy eat, everyone has different ideas on whats a big portion and whats not...obviously what im doing is wrong, as im not losing any weight.... * back to the drawing board i think* will see what this wi brings and will chat to my C again.........

thanks...:):)

Hi try to snack on fruit in between as well, melon, grapefruit, and strawberries are superfree foods. Hope this helps

It looks from what you've written that you're shorting yourself on the superfree - you're doing extra easy and you really do need to have at least 1/3 of every meal you eat (of everything you eat, ideally) as superfree; I tend to over-estimate that and am realistically probably at 1/2 to 2/3 s free on most meals.

Maybe try some veggie-stuffed homemade soup, some more fruit or carrot sticks or something?

thanks so much...i shall really try to fill my plate with superfree, think maybe half plate, then fill the rest with free, i wont feel so guilty then eating a full plate of food......thanks :)

I would say that if you're hungry an hour or so after lunch or dinner you are definitely not eating enough! You don't seem to be having much in the way of carbs, can you add a jacket potato to your chicken salad, noodles / rice to the stirfy etc? They will keep you fuller for longer. Hope it works out for you.

i agree with everyone else really, i eat A LOT more of the superfree food then you and i think that's the idea, try having a bigger salad with lunch? and snack on fruit? hope that helps :)

I go with my mother & I have lost 18 and a half pounds whereas mother just got het stone award. She got off to a good start with 2 4lb losses but then slowed right down even STS and gaining yet she is super strict, and doesn't cheat but rarely uses syns. I had been telling her for weeks that she wasn't eating enough, & certainly wasn't having a 1/3 super free. Finally last week she listened and lost 2 and a half pound. I would say you not having enough super free foods from waht you say.

thanks....i really think im not eating enough too....funnily enough me and hubby were just discussing it and i realised that the whole time on WW i would fill my plate with so much 0p food so i wasnt hungry,id eat a HUGE veggie fritatta made with 6 egg white and a whole tin of bean........ my plates would be over flowing lol :D....well not quite, but you get the gist, now im on SW and i can "eat as much as i like" i seem to have cut my portions by half, im sure of it, as now i would only serve myself half that, for fear of over eating, i really need to relax ( i think).....right thats it.....i shall fill my plate and belly and see what happens :D:D

It definitely takes a bit of getting your head around at first, especially if you're used to WW - if you're worried or want more input, you could start a food diary on here, and people can take a wee look if you're not sure. That said it sounds like you've got a plan ;)

best of luck this week!
