Just asked my OH if he could tell that ive lost weight, he said "not really although you do look more flabby instead of hard!"

PMSL!!! how funny! I think thats a compliment, in a blokes way of course! Thats certainly how my body feels as I have lost weight so I think hes agreeing with you and backing up that its physically noted!

They need bloody reference guides these men I think ;) LOL

They do indeed! LOL i giggled, hes not the best at compliments but he did send me a text from work saying how proud he is of me...that has kept me going for another week. bless. Still could have smacked him round the ear for calling me flabby though!
 
My OH said "i bet you any money you will just pile it all straight back on as soon as you've lost it" well at least he has faith in me to lose it but to say that pee's me off. I told him if he says it again i give up right now (i wouldnt really) and not bother doing this then! He soon shut up coz i said if u dont have faith in me then who else will? he wants me slimmer like i was 100 years ago! Lol
 
PMSL Champers....!!!! They truly are from another planet sometimes aren't they! My other half doesnt get it at all. We were speaking this morning when laying in bed and i was saying how much better I felt now to a few yrs ago.. he has NEVER known how much I weigh and it drives him bonkers... I was saying that I am 6 stone down now so I was absolutely huge before as I am still not slinky now and need to lose 2 stone.. all I get is 'you were carrying weight, u werent huge'.. well I was, we looked at the photos... none of it matters to him... its all passing him by.. he even offered me a bloody biccie the other night and i could have slapped him! HEs also putting milk in every single tea hes making, then cursing when he has to tip it away and do ir properly!!! LOL!
 
Bless him! It must be nice to be blissfully unaware of the REAL world and what its like for us wives. Im glad i havent been offered a biccie. They were so my downfall, those yummy choc chip cookies...argh shut up Cham! Now for a nice peppermint tea x
 
how do u do your peppermint tea? Do u sweeten it? I am not sure if i like it yet... have tried loads but makes my hair stand no end! I cant explain it!!!! how long do u brew? And whats your name? I cant keep calling you champers if we go out!! ROFL!!!

I leave it to brew for 5 minutes and add 2 sweetners per pint of tea. Its so yummy mixed with the chocolate shake! Its like hot choc. You could try peppermint with nettle tea its not as strong, has a more delucate flavor. Earl grey is nice too. Im Charmaine by the way xxxx

ah thats funny... i came through the door the other night and my hubbie says 'jeez you can really see the weight coming off your face... that's fab... now it just needs to hit your a.s.s!!!!! We both roared laughin... but know what you mean girls... my hubbie definitely has rose coloured glasses on coz he just doesnt see the weight.... he keeps sayin ah give yourself a break, you've just had a baby.... eh the child is starting school this September????? He's nearly 5!!!!!!!!!!! men eh!!!
