found the best non-cheat-tip..

bye-bigun!

Sensibly losing :)
fool your own mind....!!

Couldnt resist a bit of chicken earlier as I was cooking and it got me.... I ended up putting some in my mouth and omg yum... but I had already decided i was going to have it, but NOT SWALLOW!!! LOL! Had a good ol chew, savoured the flavour.. and then prompty spat it out and put it in the bin.....

So, i did 'have' my chicken as far as I am concerned... but I didnt consume a morsel..nilch, nadda...

Rekon this could catch on with Yorkie bars??

I told my Sister what I had done and she told me I have a bloody eating disorder!! LOL!.. ;)

Shall I slap a patent on the idea?? LOL!

(this is a bit of jest, as much as I did it I wont be relying on this in the future!!, just thought it was rather funny to share)

Haha I did this the other day sort of, I licked a piece of beef! I know its disgusting!
The things we do!

lol fab idea ! :)

ha! That's funny!!!! A new eating disorder...and you can call it the 'bye-bigun' diet lol
Its so hard to resist anything when you're cooking never mind bloody roast chicken!!!
Let me know how the yorkie bars work out lol

I don't want to be a spoil sport but as soon as you chew it your already digesting it as the enzymes in your mouth instantly break it down for absorption. If that had been sugary your body would then have glucose which would have been very bad!!! Just cuz you don't swallow doesn't mean you don't absorb some. And also, isn't that kind of defeating the point of going on LT. this is meant to be a reprogramming so that your compulsive desire for food is removed so that when you return to eating you don't pile it back on with old habits. I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass lol, I just want everyone going through this to succeed and I think it's important that you don't justify giving into food in that way to ensure you come through the other side without your inabilty to control compulsive desires. I get the feeling this post may not go down too well, but it's the truth x

I'm with you squeeze86 :)

Its not actually new and it already is a recognised eating disorder. Certainly not something to suggest as a good idea

Definately NOT a good idea, people who have been addicted to food can therefore be addicted to chew and spit disorder, a very big problem leading to all sorts of problems.

Sorry for those I seem to have offended... I did state at the end that it was said in jest and I wouldnt be relying on it in future.. if anything I think a shake addiction is more likley than a 'chew n spit' as it has such a positive outcome... lol! I am not about to stat eating whole meals with a bin next to me.. it was said very lightheartedly, didnt think it would end up annoying! sorry!

*goes back to hide in the corner and shut up*

Lol it's not annoying or offensive hun. We are just all in it together and it's worrying to see something that could potentially destroy a fellow LTers success beating the evil food demons! Lol. To be fair, I read it at like 2 in the morning and actually didn't see the bit about it being in jest... I thought you were being serious!! Of course I support anyone having a slip-up, I just thought it was worrying to consider it the 'best tip' lol. Hope I didn't come across sh!tty... Just didn't want anyone to actually consider that a justifiable way of doing LT. Just don't ever do it with a yorkie ha ha x

I know you were just making a light comment about the spit it out thing, it is just that it may seem funny and easy, but believe me, it can become an awful habit, with big issues.

i am not annoyed with your comment at all, I just think people should be aware of the potential for it to become addictive, just a little nibble of what you want, chew and spit in the bin, an easy way for anorexia to take hold, or bulimia. There are people who do this sort of behaviour for years.

Some people are more prone to these things.

I am not annoyed, just aware.

That's all very well to say Suzanne but it IS an eating disorder and could actually sound like a good idea to someone who's never heard of it

I fully appreciate it was meant Tongue in cheek but would you really want someone who has never ever heard of this or thought of it to now start doing it because the ideas now there?

Obviously not starlight!!!

P.s. my name has a "z"in it!! a pet hate of mine, its like being called Mrs when your actually a Ms :)

Ah Donna you're a scream... to be honest guys when you're on this regime even lickin a postage stamp starts to look attractive!!!!!!! Altho have to say i will not let anything pass my mouth just in case it upsets my ketosis.... i sprayed flykiller the other morning and sprayed it into my face by accident.... jeez the pain in my eye was unreal... but i was more upset the spray had landed on my lips and would sabotage my ketosis... now how unreal is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!! Reckon im a bit deranged at this stage!!!!

Fgs, had I known how well this would have sat I would have kept my bloody mouth shut I think.. in future if I have any such similar queries then I best not post on here eh! God forbid.. I mean someones just mentioned bulemia too - what if someone now wants to give that a go as they have ready that too? I read about crimes every day but it doesnt make me go and want to stab a granny... i cant believe that a VERY lightearted comment (hence the WINK on the title before you open it) and my last sentence has caused such a thing..
And whether its intended or not, I do feel completely 'got at' like I am being shouted down by my Mother or something.. albeit it not entirely directly. A point has been made, it doesnt need to be repeated.

Anyway, lesson learnt, will keep my gob shut - so much for free speech.

it makes me laugh at times this forum, half the people arent even on Lipotrim who are making comments! . You feel free to say what u like D, if people dont like it,they dont have to read it!

I think you are wildly misjudging our intentions.. We are all here for the same reasons and look out for each other. My initial post was out of concern for you as I didn't realise you were jokin cuz I missed the last sentence. But it does need mentioning that there is a percentage if people who develop eating disorders from extreme programmes like this as so long telling yourself that food is wrong can cause a detrimental fear of food or cause long term bad habits like chewing food and spitting it back out. Noones taking a personal attack on you and your last post was unneccesary. We are all here for each other as much as ourselves and need to not have any negativity. Noones suggesting you are suggesting eating disorders or that you have done anything wrong. So chill out and let's all just get on ffs. Its just important to mention certain things as there are a lot of people that read these forums for advice and tips. And it's important we give out a healthy and realistic account of things at all times and keep the support network going x
