Hello, I'm back (again)

I woke this morning and decided that my 'cutting down' type diet was not being adhered to so I need to do something drastic.

I have a couple of boxes from a HUGE Exante order in the cupboard, so that is what I shall do. I have tried going back to it a couple of times before, but as I do it secretly, ie not tell anyone I am attempting to diet, I find it very easy to cheat.

I have done no preparation so am going to eat some extra protein for the first few days (just had a lovely hot, grilled chicken breast) as well as my Exante soups and shakes and may have the odd cup of ten calorie French onion soup as well to keep me going (a trick learned from my Cambridge days)

I am not going to do the whole "I am disgusted with myself" wailing here, but suffice to say, I am!

I'm hoping that by posting on here I will be accountable and may actually manage to be strict with myself.

Good luck with exante hun.
I'm restarting today, woo!
I hope all goes well for you, have a great 1st week :D

Thank you all.

So far, so good. I've had one shake and a small BL bar (called into Asda on my way to taking my daughter to one of her numerous clubs) and a fair bit of grilled chicken (no skin) and don't have any hunger pangs. Shame I forgot to get some cottage cheese as I was planning on making a crustless quiche to take with me tomorrow, but there is more chicken in the freezer :)

At the moment I am feeling quite full, although I have a long night ahead of me, typing up reports at home, and find that I tend to eat more as I become more tired, but will try to fill up on water and save my final replacement meal for later.

Hmm, I do feel accountable already - hopefully you will all give me the determination I need to get through these first few days.

Ooo where do you get the onion soup?

It's from Morrisons and I love it! They are really small boxes and easy to miss - made by Gourmet Cuisine and contain 6 sachets, but only around 60p, as far as I remember. They have 1.6g of carbs per sachet, but my Cambridge Counsellor recommended them as a warm little stop gap, so they can't be too bad for you!

(She also suggested making a Hartley's sugar free jelly and keeping it in the fridge in case you need a sweet treat - that works too, if you can stop the kids from eating it!)
