hi all im new here. i came off the cambridge diet a few weeks ago as i jut couldnt cope with it emotionally anymore.i lost 3 and a half stone which is great but i still need to lose another 2stone o get me down to my 10 stone target. i am not going to slimming world class but have all the books etc so am just following the original plan and have joined the gym which im doing 5 days a week . im doing 30 mins cardio and 20 mins toning. so far have put on a few pounds which can be expected when you go from something like the cambridge onto "normal food" and i also know that going to the gym im building muscle which weighs heavier however, im yet to see any weight loss, has anyone on here switched from cambridge ss straight onto slimming world? how did you get on? im starting to worry that im not going to lose any more weight? surely my body should be adjusted to food again now after a couple of weeks? any advice or similar stories would be great ! i dont want to weigh myself every single week either as i find after doing the cambridge diet its too much pressure every week to focus solely on what the scales say ! x

Hi, welcome to MiniMins, Great losses so far well done, I'm on Slimming World ATM too with good results, I'm a Noobie to MM too and so far find the help and support here great, stick with SW and don't feel disheartened If/When you don't have great weeks , things usually get better the following weeks, I dont know about The Cambridge diet so cant really advice you on what effect switching from it to SW is like, but I know SW does work for me, Its more than likly any weight gain will be down to muscles retaing water due to you starting to excercise than any muscle gain. Good luck, and enjoy eating
