I messed up

I was so hungry had stuck to TFR 100% and after 11 days felt so hungry i couldnt stand it. I raided the fridge for low carbs and could only settle for some edam cheese and pork slices. Apart from deep impending guilt i feel more satisfied than i have done since i started. Im not going to cry im going to get over it tonight and be back on tomorrow... Here goes

You have done very well to get to 11 days and the weekends are very difficult for most members so you are not alone.

You made good enough choices with the Edam cheese and Pork slices and if you can move forward from here now and put it behind you, you will be doing great as it is easy to let one thing slide into the other and before you know you are completely off the diet.

Good for you! there's no point getting upset over it, it's done now and you're not the only one who's fallen off the wagon. Good luck x

Hi
Try to put it behind you and start again as I'm sure you will. It's not the end of the world! You sound positive. Keep going and let us know how you are getting on. Good luck

Thank you ladies will let you know how tomorrow goes :)

Thanks for the upbeat support :) it helps so much xxx

It happens to the best of us.....no point crying over spilt milk or cheese and pork in this case:cry: learn from it and try not to dwell on it but equally try not to do it again.....

Hey, I ate an omelette yesterday so you're not alone. A no carb cheat though will at least have kept you in ketosis. I'm sure you'll be fine. After all, you do have to consume 3,500 calories over what you need to put on a single pound of fat and I'm sure you won't have consumed that much cheese and pork! Just make sure that having satisfied your craving it's not the start of a slippery slope. Be determined to get back on track.

Back on track! Woke up feeling great. Incentive head back on although slightly muddled ( sprayed hairspray instead of deodarant under my arms...gulp) mixed vanilka shake with 2 spoons of coffee and two pints of water. Sat up the dinner table with my 12 yr old daughter while she had brekkie and i had my shake. I think it helps me rather than avoid the dinner table im going to embrace it and the power i will have over it from now on. Dropping her off at school soon and then off to pilates. Did a wee test and still in ketosis. Yay

well done for getting back on the wagon, great to hear your still in ketosis. Keep the head up and focus on what you will look like at the end of your journey :)

I think that's a good idea, I ate breakfast and dinner with my OH every day, he hates eating alone!

I do Pilates too, only been going about 6 weeks but it's made a huge difference to my posture and balance since my hip op......I'm going back to work soon so I'm going to do one to one sessions rather than go to classes cos they're not at convenient times......there will be no hiding places!

Thanks Chuck i am trying my damndest to stic with it :)

I love pilates Sandra too its helping me recover with my broken elbow. Its taking a long time 3 months already but slowly getting there! :)

I love Pilates too, which reminds me to dust off a pilates DVD I have, ease my lazy bum back into exercise!

Hi Karen, you won't be able to upload a picture until you've made more posts - not sure if it's 50 or more. Can't remember. Just keep trying and once you've hit the right number the system will let you.

Cham, well done for getting back on track! Good luck for next week. This forum keeps me going, so just hang in here when the going gets tough.
