We had a bathroom carpet fitted this week and I weighed myself as usual to find I weighed a stone less than I thought!! 
Then I put the scales back on a wooden floor and the illusion quickly vanished tee hee.
Don't forget to weigh yourself on a solid surface! Carpet absorbs your weight making it seem like you weigh (a lot) less. It was nice while it lasted though!!
