Love her love her love her!!! I mainly listen to ADELE at the mo, especially in the car, as I'm slightly addicted at the mo!! Turning Tables is one of my faves!!X
 
Have to agree funcurls. i also listen to Adele19 in the car and my favorites change from day to day all according to what mood im in i think. love all of her songs, such a talented, grounded young girl.

BTW have you heard her cover of Cheryl Coles - Promises?
 
Adele has a great set of lungs - but the songs she has released are sooooo depressing.

We all need some happy songs in our lives....i recommend the Bruno Mars album!!! :) the song called Other Side with Cee Lo Green is amazing!!! :) and so is Runaway Baby - upbeat and happening!!! x

You're so right EB!! There's so much doom & gloom at the moment both in the world and rather more close to home too, that I feel some more upbeat stuff would be just the ticket!! I do think it's important to listen to some soulful emotive stuff too though, and Adele certainly comes up with the goods on that front!! Thanks for the recommendations!XXX

'Promise This'! Just listened to it on You Tube on your recommendation!! I hadn't heard it before! How amazing to turn what I thought was such a crap song (sorry Chezza!!) into a soulful and meaningful masterpiece!! She is so talented!! I also dig the fact that she comes across as so down to earth, fun loving and modest!!X
 
Actually no, this is my very very fave on the 21 album!! Don't You Remember!! Hadn't heard this live lounge version before and it's just incredible!!Can't believe she's only 22!!!X

Yes awesome!! They really show the best of an artist (or worst if they're bad haha!!) but to be fair they're normally pretty good!X

What you have to remember is that To Make You Feel My Love is a cover of a 1997 Bob Dylan track-folk songs sometimes tend to be a bit depressing, that's why I like them so much!
I will agree that there seems to be a lot of depressing music out at the minute, along with a load of right old rubbish (Justin Bieber-what is that all about?!) And people wonder why I don't listen to the radio...
 
Anything by David Bowie or Bruce Springsteen :) xx

I really do not like ANY music that is 'in' right now, so I have been scouring allhits for some inspiration of stuff to download from times gone by because I'm getting throughly bored of the stuff on my iPod!
 
I have a cracking random playlist on spotify which has a bit of everything in, if anyone wants a listen - username is Stefan1e
 
I have almost 6000 singles, all top 10 hits (including every top 5 single) from 1960-2005 on my ipod.

You can only imagine how eclectic that is. Everything from Abba to ZZ Top (and all in between) - pure poptastic lol.
