Eating out at a Curry House

I have a dilemma.

My friends want to go out for dinner to a curry house and whilst I would love to join them I don't really want to have carby foods. Obviously rice and naan etc are out but are there any meals which would be acceptable? Or should I just decline the invitation.

Thanks for any help x

I have tandoori chicken tikka pieces ( no masala sauce) and green salad. Had it twice now with no effect on ketosis. A lot of people go for the mixed grill too. I'm of the opinion that staying away from things in sauces is best as you never know how much sugar etc or flour to thicken is added.

Rosebug that's my concern! And I don't really want to ask them to list their ingredients lol.

Hmm mixed grill sounds yummy thanks :)

I'd stick to anything from the tandoor and no sauces

i wont be on saturday :D

no holes barred'
ahem im not sure what kind of weekend YOU are looking for PMSL :D

(oh no its started already!)

I have tandori king prawns with spiced spinach or mushrooms and masala sauce on the side I only use a bit of that so the meals not dry n i don't think it's ever affected me x enjoy ur meal x

This might be a really daft question, do you think you could have a korma? It's not my favourite by a mile but it's made with cream and coconut isn't it? Or do you think they would add lots of things that are bad to the sauce lol

I think they add sugar to their sauces and thickeners which are carb loaded. We didn't end up going so everything was ok. But reckon I would have stuck to dry meats and I would have taken a mama lupes wrap with me :)
