just thought it would be interesting to find out how everyone intends on celebrating when they reach goal!

Hi, going out for a big slap up meal..haha. No i'm going to hit the shop's for a whole new wardrobe, can't wait.

At this moment all i can think of is the BIGGEST MEAL EVER but i'll probably not do that and spend the money on clothes.

I AM going to go out for a nice meal- but make healthy choices to prove that I can. Also, would like to get some photos taken for me and my family- terribly vain isn't, but I have about 2 nice photos of me since I was a child and the rest have just been ripped up because they were so awful- so a couple of nice studio shots I think- pricey but if they turn out well looking at them will keep me at goal!

I am going for an Indian Meal next Friday (3rd) with 30 friends and family and going to enjoy it! Got new clothes for the meal and CANT wait. Then on the 5th Mum is taking me shopping for new wardrobe. The following week - I fly to Egypt for a weeks holiday - so all in all - I am celebrating the new me - BIG TIME!

Why not - we've / will have worked hard enough!

A xxx

We are also going to have some family pics done, Ive hated have my pic taken last couple of years so avoided the cam, but once at goal we have said that we will go have some nice pics done.

A new wardrobe is definately on the list too .... although I think as Im dropping sizes and get near goal I will already have new stuff .... a little more couldnt hurt though .. lol.

I am off to Rome, when I come off CD - whether I hit my goal or not.

If I haven't I will lose the balance with healthy/sensible eating.

8 weeks left, I am counting the days !

Erm, my mini goal was 10 st 7lb - I got to 10st 8 for my wedding and that was a celebration in itself!! It felt amazing being in a beautiful wedding dress!!! I want to get to 10st now, not sure how I'll celebrate - at the moment I want to say by having some strawberries, I really miss fruit when I'm SSing/790ing!!!!

ps - Sally, your signature says you want to work out 10% of your start weight so you can complete one of your goals - from your ticker it looks like 28lbs - 2 stone! So you're almost there, you've lost 21 already, well done!!!!!

i am planning to reach goal by my birthday - 30th september- and i'd like to celebrate by dressing up in new clothes and going for a nice meal with my husband.

I've also been planning on getting some professional photos done of myself, my husband and my 2 year old. Like most of you, i've avoided the camera since my weight crept on and i've got hardly any nice photos of myself with my little boy. I would really like some pics before he grows up!

Lastly, I would love to go on holiday to a hot place where i can strut round in a bikini all day! That one might have to wait until next year but its good to dream!

A great big huge cream cake!!! :D LOL

No seriously my original goal was 11st 4lbs (but i've now chosen to push myself a little further now) I had £1000 saved to buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes, which i did all in size 12's :D :D Yippeeee!!!

When i reach my new goal then it's over to hubby to help me out with MORE new clothes , hopefully a size 10 :)....xxxx

Thank you so much sunflowerbride:D( god i'm crap at %) congrats to you too for getting to 10st 8 and i'm sure you'll reach your final goal.

I am going to buy my first ever Bikini ( never worn one as an adult) when I get to goal, and all the usual clothes and nice meal etc,
But the on thing I want to buy and get into is some "wellies"
I haven`t been able to get any to fit since I was about 15yrs old as my legs have always been to fat !
When I get those I will be a happy bunny, and can buy some new long riding boots lol

I'm going to

1. Buy a gorgeous evening dress and get professional photos of me and DH done, to make up for my size-of-a-cow wedding photos

2. Have a riding lesson

3. Walk into my ex fiances office ('"To be totally honest, Bagpuss, society doesn't respect fat people and I find it hard to respect you, either") in knee highs boots, a little skirt, just-stepped-out-of-a-salon hair and kick the ****er in his own area of inadequacy.

Sazzy- I totally understand the wellies thing! I bought some for V festival 2 years ago & had to cut them up the back so they fit. I was 2 stone lighter then too. I'd also like some knee high boots!

My aim is a sky dive. I did one years back but you have to be below 13 stone so thats defo something to aim for.

I will have reached goal in time for my 25th Birthday on the 15th of November so am already saving for a huge party.....I'm going to invite everyone that I know.....and especially those that have not seen me in a while.

Grand entrance.....beautiful dress......lovely hair....the works!!!

:party0023:

You go girl :party0049: your 'ex' sounds like a complete ar*e ~ clearly you're so much better off with your DH :)

ooooh, this thread has just reminded me of my husbands offer of a £1000 from his own personal stash for me to go and blow on clothes when I get to goal weight :D:D:D now that was probably a year ago or so when I was doing Slimming World or WW, but I've reminded him about it not so very long ago and he didnt withdraw the offer.... so, I guess I'll be celerbrating by going on a shopping spre too, BRING IT ON BABY!!! Also, we are going to Disneyland Paris in November, the last time we were there was 7 years ago and we got engaged in Notredame Cathedral, I was probably 6 stones lighter then:eek: so it would be nice to go back there a similar size as I was back then (wearing my new winter wardrobe):D

Oh yes having a go at horse riding is another thing I want to do when I get to goal.

Also when I get slimmer Im going to start boxercise or similar.
