Hi-Five all CD returners... we can do it!

Hi. I've returned in full force after falling off in October 2009. I have now started back and on day 2 and feeling more focused than ever. I am so glad I came back to the forum as everyone's stories are just so inspiring. I really need to loose 6 stones to get to my middle healthy weight and will see from there. I am hoping to loose at least 2 stones in 2 months (before Southport Weekender)

The last time I started exercising after 3 weeks, first with resistance training, aqua aerobics and swimming, then brought in the cardio. I am not sure this time whether to get on the exercise thing yet, but I do want it incorporated in my life long term. I just don't feel comfortable/confident to go to the gym yet, but maybe I won't loose as much as I did the first time round in that short space of time. Any thoughts on this would be helpful.

Thanks and good luck to all
Vanessa xx

Welcome back Venessa:welcome2:

The weight loss on SSing following the same product works out similar second time around...it may not come off exactly the same each week as it did before but over the course of four weeks it should be roughly the same as last time.

Two stone off in eight weeks is doable.

Thanks Mini - much appreciated xx

You did it before, you'll do it again. From the losses I read on VLCD forums here you'll be way thinner in no time.

Good luck!

Thanks GirlyGirl. I'm really worried about getting through the weekend. Last time I did it I ran out to the shop and bought stuff to munch - not naughty stuff but still food. I really want to get through 100% and see the difference on the first weigh in on Monday. Fingers crossed. I might just sleep through it! LOL

hi everyone im a returner after 21/2 years i have about 6 stone to lose! i started today so would appreciate all the help i can get! thanks jan

Well done summer for taking the step to return. Good luck with your journey and let's hold each other's hands through the wobbly bits! xx

Hi! I'm restarting on Monday after an 18 month blip but really worred about how much exercise to do. I do Zumba 3 times per week plus the odd extra class, treadmill etc but don't know if thats too much and will wreck my weightloss.
Anyway, good luck ladies!
x

Woo hoo needtoslim. Hi-five on the restart. I couldn't comment on the extent of exercise. Hopefully a CDC will pop on and be able to advise. I haven't done that much exercise in a long time and when I start back I'm going to do lightweight stuff. Good luck and don't forget to share the tears, fears, joys and good stuff as that's why we're all here together xx

I'm a restarter (haven't edited all of profile yet!) Just want to say good luck. This forum helped me last time. Lots of personal problems since though. Hope to get to know lots of you! (Think I was Dippyblondetart last time!) x

Well done for coming back. I have just started week 6 and feeling bloody brilliant (apart from the bad back issue)

Good luck with your start and hope it goes well. xx
