Well tomorrow is weigh day. Have been good so far but now hve flu and just want to sit and eat chocolate. I have a big bag of minstrels that are now torturing me. Dont know what to do. Have little will power at the mo ?

try and keep away from them or yo may feel worse if you eat them and no like what the scales say ... just a little tip :) or just try and have a few of them if you can ... i cant have anything like that in the house coz i would not stop lol x

STEP AWAY FROM THE CHOCOLATE!!!! :D If you're short of willpower having one may turn into the whole pack. Failing that, do you have syns left? If not, go and make a coffee and munch on a bit of fruit xx

What I usually do if I feel a food "talking to me" is ruin it, like if there is some chips left on my daughters plate that she doen't want and I can feel my fingers twitching to grab them I take them out to the kitchen and squirt washing up liquid on them that way even if I wanted to I cant eat them! Always works lol ;)

Open them up, eat two, then throw the rest in the bin.

Is there anyone else in the house - if so, take a few out and get them to go and hide the bag somewhere safe BEFORE you start eating them and get the taste.

I love Minstrels - you can make each one last quite a while it you put yourself on a chewing ban.

you will feel better resisting them and then feel ten times stronger after.
It really isn't worth it-all you'll end up with is weight gain and a side order of gulit.
Be in control, be focused, remember your reasons.
You can do this-it's only chocolate-not oxygen. :)

I second the freezer idea. And think how proud of yourself you will be tomorrow.

When in doubt, chuck 'em out!Destroy them with washing up liquid or open your front door and throw them outdoors for the rats!!And don't buy them again.Buy some apples and plums instead!
Hope you feel better soon anyway
Carrie

open your front door and throw them outdoors for the rats!!

LOL, had visions of Jamesmummy living in a Victorian street, throwing her scraps out to the scroungers on the street and the gentlemen in their top hats looking down in disgust :D

Stefanie,
I have to do that if I have something in the house and want it or I will eat it!!
I feed the birds most left overs of things I don't eat,if I have had 'bad' stuff in the house when entertaining!
I have VERY well fed birds!!and foxes,rats,mice!!
Yes I bet you had a funny vision!!
Anyway,I would not buy them in the first place!!Too much temptation, but when one DOES resist and they are there and I have no cravings for the stuff.............BLISS! :)))

JAMESMUMMY!!I hope you managed to resist and at least have had a laugh reading the replies to your post!!

Such wise words!
So pleased you managed to resist - I hope that you feel better and proud of yourself because of your achievement?

I reached target last year and then, between October and last week, I managed to put on 12lbs. The feeling of guilt and being disappointed in myself, really dragged me down. Back to group now and already feel fantastic.
Evil (uncontrolled) chocolate - it really is not worth it! ;)

Im the world's biggest chocoholic so I no what a struggle it is to resist! I haven't had a single piece in 8 days which believe me is a friggin miracle! lol Im having the choc shakes this wk to satisfy my choccy cravings without "falling off the wagon" :)

I sound like a saint when I read about chocolate lovers - I haven't had a single bar of chocolate or bag of crisps for 5 months!! But, when it comes to anything cheese related or wine....i'm there! :D xx

We all have our vices then shame its not something like salad (yuk!) we cnt live without lol
