Alpro Soya Milk!!

I dont often post on here, im quite shy.
Ive been reading the new branded foods book. It says in the healthy extra section that we are allowed 500mls of alpro soya milk daily as a HEA. Can somebody please check this out for me. If its true i'll be happy as i drink a lot of tea and coffee as i have to be up really early on a morning and i find that 350mls of skimmed milk is not enough. Thanks guys.:D

Good news. If you do the green plan and are allowed two HEXAs, you can have 500ml of soya milk.

But, you could have 700ml of skimmed milk or unsweetened soya milk as your HEXA x 2 as well.

If you are doing EE then you only get 1 HEXA.

Hope this is clear, I'm dashing off in a second but wanted to answer your query.

Thanks so very much hun. I know you can double it up if your on green plan but it does say in the new book 500ml light alpro on EE, Red and Green. So im a bit lost. Its on page 106 of the Free branded Foods 2011.Thanku again

No, you can now have 500ml of Alpro unsweetened light as ONE HEXA on all plans - so technically on Green you could have 1000ml if you used both HEXAs. I posted this in the HEX section about a week ago, link here.

Not all soya milk has the same nutritional content so it's always best to check out how much you can have of whatever brand you prefer.

You can also have 500ml of So Good Light Unsweetened as one HEXA now too:

I have the alpro light sweetened milk so think that's 350ml for a HEA which in calories wise works out as 77kcal so would that about right kcal wise to HEA as if you work out the calorie content whatever u have works out at around the same value.

(200ml is 44kcal so 100ml is 22kcal - 350ml is 77kcal?)

Hey, old thread I know, but was wondering where you'd got that screen shot from, because it looks really useful! I'm trying to find out which type of milk I can have most of for my single HexA on EE.

Thanks!!
