Worried about my hair loss

I finished my 100 days towards the end of May and about 2/3 weeks later the hair loss started but is still continuing and I am getting a little worried................I have always had lots of thick wild curly hair but you can definately tell it is much much thinner......

I have read all the bumf about it just what I would have lost normally but all coming out together as I am now eating again but this is just not true, I am losing far more than normal.........

Does anyone have any words of wisdom as this has now been going on for about 6/7 weeks........

Thank you

I sympathise July Bride,

I was aghast when my hair started to fall our - every shower and bath was an ordeal!! I even took the trouble to count them one day and they came to 60 - another day it was 100!! Paranoid or what?!!

And, like you, I did notice my normally thick hair appearing to become thinner but it isn't noticeable to other people - not even my hairdresser.

But it does stop. Mine went on for about 4/5 weeks and then stopped and then I had a little bit more come out and then nothing at all.

It would appear that it happens to most people but no one goes bald!! I know several people who have done LL and all of them have healthy heads of hair.

So hang in there.

Hi

When i started eating again whilst on my break my hair loss was really worrying too. It would literally fall out in clumps whenever i touched it, especially when washing. I too had really thick hair and although no one else can notice i definetly can. I saved the hair that i had lost on one wash to show my hair dresser but she said it was ok as normally everyone can loose up to 100 hairs a day, and she can't tell any difference when doing my hair although she did comment on the regrowth.

Try not worry about it i'm sure it will stop soon, mine has certainly reduced alot since restarting LL.

Ladies!
Try not to worry too much about losing your hair - have a chat with your counsellors to put your mind at rest...

I have very thick hair, so wasn't overly worried but I can understand peeps who have thin hair would be...

As Pokerstar says it does grow back :)

I'm definitely shedding hair, and I have quite fine hair - but lots of it as every hairdresser I've ever had keeps telling me - but I haven't noticed that it's thinner or anything...hmmm...I'm sure you'll be okay.
