5g of fat 100g rule

So why is it that if a food goes over the 5g per 100g rule we cannot have just one of that thing? For example...Velvet Crunch low fat crisps... have 9.8g per 100g and only 2g per bag. If you're having just one bag for your snack, why is that not allowed... ? Confused!

thats what i was thinking amy, if its less than 100g then it would be alright?

Well, Charlotte, I put it to the test! I had a bag of velvet crunch for only 2g fat...and....half hour later, I had to visit the loo! LOL... It wasn't bad, no orange goo or anything but I'm guessing it wouldn't have happened if the ratio was right ( < 5g per 100g ) LMAO.... I'm a good little guinea pig hahaha :) Hope I helped! LOL

Salted pretzels in small portions are OK - I get the 25g bags from M&S .. Sainsburys do a 100g bag but it's too tempting to eat the whole bag hahaa

Ooooh...and if you have a sweet tooth, I found something amazing in the dried fruit aisle of Sainsbury's ..

Nakd Raisins, lunch box size bag (25g) Infused with Cherry / Lemon / Orange / Pineapple flavours...
All natural sugars, nothing added and NO fat! Amazing for a quick sweet kick! 39p per bag AND 1 of your 5 a day!
