OK so I know i really need to stay positive and focused but i'm really losing all that. I'm trying SO hard but my weight loss is just stagnating and i'm starting to get very down and well depressed about it:cry:
Started off really well have stuck to plan and stayed on extra easy. Use my syns in the evening for a 2 finger kitkat or go ahead bar.
1st week -6 fabulous
2nd week +1 ?stayed on plan leader thought exercising might have me weighing more as was very sore
3rd week -3.5 happy days
4th week -3.5 great surprised
5th week 0 ? again a lot of exercise maybe she has a point i'll see it next week
6th week -0.5?? GUTTED

i really want to lose 2lb a week that's my focus and goal.
Everytime i diet i can't seem to get below 15st  2 weeks ago i was focused on losing a least 1.5 to see the 14's but i'm stuck again.
Can you eat too much? i'm eating free foods.
Is red or green days better and should I look into those?
I'm determined not to give up i REALLY want to shift this weight but i'm so down and frustrated.
People are always saying "oh the more you weigh the more you lose" sorry but rubbish there are girls in my classes who weigh at least 3/4 stone less than me and are seeing fabulous weight loss.
I have a birth control implant in could this be interfering?
sorry for all the questions and such a depressing post :sigh:

Hi Hun, you say you are exercising, can I ask what you do and how much a week. Exercise may cause a slower loss in the short term but long term its the best way to stay toned and keep the weight off. I was told it takes about 6-8 weeks for the benefits of exercise to show on the scales.

Also you need to look at the bigger picture and your losses to date. according to your ticker you have lose nearly a stone in 6 weeks.. thats blooming brilliant.

Stick with it and big hugs xxx

Your loses actually average out at 2lb a week so you have achieved what you wanted. Our bodies will hold fluids at different times of the month and we won't always lose exactly the same each week. Remember the numbers are going down. There are people on here that only lose 0.5 lb a week, its a slow loss but it is a loss and the alternative is to give up and start gaining again. Focus on how well you have done since you started don't look at each week on its own.

for the majority you are losing weight, and it equates to 2lb a week from what you've lost so far.
my weight has been stuck for 6 weeks now and i am doing everything i can. it got me down to begin with but now i have accepted that it will come off sooner or later, i mix my days with red green and ee to give myself a change. i exercise everyday too and still i can't get into the 11's.
lots of luck for us to get the scales moving again soon, keep at it, you are doing SO well already, sts or a loss...even of 1/2lb is still fab!! and a slight gain now and again shows that we are only human, these things take time, and i'm slowly learning to be patient :)
keep up the good work x

I personally, couldn't get on with extra easy, and much prefer to do green days. I see better losses for it, but it is because I like to have 2 healthy B's.

When I was going to groups, there was one girl who was in the same situation. It turned out she was a phantom chewy chewer, and didnt realise that it was syns.

Do you keep a food diary?? This always helps me.

Also, are you being precise with your measurements?? I found that I was once using 800g bread instead of the recommended 400g loaf. Also, if you have spread on your bread, do you measure it?? It takes about 8 level tsp to cover one slice thinly

Also, make sure that you have 1/3 of your plate with superfree food. It can make a massive difference.

With regards to your contraception implant, ask your GP if it could be causing problems??

Stick with it hun, cos there will be something silly in your way, you just need to find it and shift it, and you can continue with your journey.

Good luck xx

hi hon the implant should not cause probs, i have been on it for 4 years (am on my second implant)

ahh babe, i know how you feel. i've been going for 2 months now and my weight losses are inconsistent but i try and look at the bigger picture and keep focused. i've lost 11lbs in 2 months x

sori had to feed the baby lunch
thanks i'm feeling my mood lifted from those comments and your all right i have near enough averaged out at 2lb a week! Which is fab!considering i'm eating yummy yummy food!
Think i just got stuck into a little rut this week and was expecting to see something else on the scales. I'm still determined my leader gave me a book for fast forward and i haven't even looked at it as i do enjoy what i'm doing now and really need to have some more paitence. I'm going to look into the red and green days and try to become more creative. I've read my 2 magazine till their nearly falling apart. thank you so much for the much needed kick up the backside ; )

I can only agree with what the others have said. If you have a food diary let us have a look, but honestly I don't think you are having difficulty with SW, you are doing amazingly well.

Being overweight in itself causes depression, sometimes we put too much pressure on ourselves about our weight.

You should be proud of how well you have done so far. Keep it up & before you know it you will have acheived your goal.

i do keep a food diary michelle but i hand them into group and haven't recieved any feedback yet. I do like keeping the food diary too as it makes me think about what i'm doing
my friend told me the other night to start visualising myself, and not to stress as that can hinder things too
