Rock target:: loose 3.7 stones in 7 months???
I "have" to loose 3 and half stones in max 7 months as i am going away, actually i would prefer to loose 4 stones in total but in 7 months thats pushing it so I'm opting for 3 n half stones, do u reckon I can do it guys with a WW plan? I really need help and support as i am starting to panic, have I left it too late?

Well theoretically, with WW you loose 1-2lb a week, so that's 7-8lbs a month, if you stick to plan, so it's definitely within the realms of possibility! Best of luck!

hiya erin, thanks for the support:) I'm a newbie here and trying to get used to this forum and finding it very confusing to who wrote what etc but sure ile soon get my head around it. I know its possible too loose 1-2 lbs in a week, but then again we get them dreaded weeks when we stay the same, or gain, so 'IF' things can run smoothly and I could loose 2 pounds a week then I'm in luck but we all know it never runs smooth:) u seemed to have done pretty well so far, good luck

Thanks! I have never gained on WW if I stick to the points. I read your post in another thread about being put off Propoints. I think you should try a week of Discovery and a week of PP to see what suits you best and it will keep your body guessing (& more importantly losing!). :) Even if you don't lose the whole 3 and a half stone in 7 months, I think you will get pretty close if you stick to a WW plan.

to be honest erin i have NO clue about pro points and i actually don't know where to find the info, i was considering going to the classes just to get the latest books and info on pp. From what I read about the pp on the ww website is that foods were given their points values according to the way the body digest the food and how it fills up the tummy, for example a burger that is 8 points on the vp would be 12 on the pp due to the high fat content and low fat yogurt that is say 5 points on vp would be 2 points on the pp due to its lower fat content and how it fills up the tummy, am I on the right track?

Yeah, more or less. You could probably eat more or less the same thing on both plans, but you would just need to change the amounts of certain things on the PP version. I saw that people are selling the books & worker-outers for both plans on eBay if you couldn't afford going to class, but a good Google will usually lead you to the right points for the majority of things!

I have tried vp and had an average of 2 pounds weight loss at week, some weeks more or less, but on average I'de say 2lbs. Reading through the forums i have came to discover that many people are not happy with the pp and are turning back to vp, it seems like they are not having the same weight loss as they did with the vp plan, do u agree with this> do u think they work the same or have u had more weight loss on the vp plan?

Well this is only my second week on PP. I lost 4lbs last week, but switched because I had hit a plateau with Discovery, where I stayed the same for 3 weeks, even sticking to my points and eating under points. I used to lose 1-2 lbs on the old plan and I imagine I will eventual settle into losing that amount on PP. I just find it more flexible for me, but I would guess the losses would be pretty much the same, for me anyway.

oh thats great, 4 lb loss is really good.. I know diets tend to do that when it just becomes so hard to shift the weight off, even if you down the points and up the exercise its still no use. well good luck erin on that and i really hope your weight starts coming off and u reach your goal in now time. Ive lost 5 stones in the past mixing sw and ww together where some months I did ww and sometimes i did sw and that worked really good for me and i lost about 4 st in 7 months. anyway keep on the pro points and update us so we know how well it works, thanks for the support
