Interesting read

Fab article put the yo-yo dieting right into perspective and i bet thats the case of sadly more than 50% of the population, it certainly hits home of how hard it actually is to maintain any sort of weightloss and what lengths we go to to lose it.... in the last 5 years ive bet ive lost at least 15-20 stone going up and down the scales and its wrecked my metabolism totally, i hope l/l will help this by restarting eating at a pace the body needs. well thats the plan lol

Yes definitely. I've done so many diets over the years. Went up and down with my weight more times than I can remember. It must have cost me thousands in both the diets and different size clothes.
That is why I've promised myself when I started LL in sept that this will be the last time I'd been on a diet.
I'm determined to see this through and completely committed to maintaining the weight loss for good now.
Enough is enough!
It's time to take charge of my weight NOT let the weight be in charge of me!

What a great article. I yoyo too but never have the discipline to get too low but I equally don't have the discipline to stop me going to high too! I feel her pain. Hoping this will be the last time on LL but not hopeful. At least I've committed to rtm. Hoping to start in 2 weeks. Still have 9 lbs to get to target. X

the article was a good read x

Fab read!
I have gone up and up since having my two children this is my second time coming down, (i havent weighed what I am now since a teenager) never tried to maintain, I hope i can reach a managable weight and stay there!

Quote "nine out of ten dieters will regain every pound they lose and probably end up weighing even more than when they started."

This is terrifying!
