starting alli today

hey, so having spent 2 years away from here and losing some weight, putting it back on, losing it once again and then piling it back on plus more i cried for help and the doc gave me alli. so here goes nothing, im going to win this time :D

first day seems fine, ive read millions of pages on net about it and the little booklet. ive kinda stayed healthy today but tomorrow im getting a little note book and shall be writing everything down :D

i posted here cos alli forum seems abit quiet.

so hello again im charlotte- this time round im 23 and im still at uni :D:bliss::bliss::bliss::bliss::bliss:

Hi Charlotte!!

booboo has lots of alli tips, I don't know what the difference is, if any, between alli and xencial, but no fear, this lot will certainly support you all the way!

Welcome charlotte and good luck with your weight loss journey, alot of us create a diary on here where we list our food for the day which i found to be a great help especially when i first started. Also you will get great support if you do, everyone on here is brilliant and so supportive!!

Hiya Charlotte welcome to a really supportive group of lovely people :)

The only difference between Alli and Xenical is the mg Alli is 60mg and Xenical 120mg

I was on Alli for just over a month and had a good loss so I am sure you will do fantastic.....Join the alli programme on Home | alli you will have a weekly weigh in on there and also it has lots of information and recipes...I would also recommend you get the Alli Diet Plan book which explains everything you need to know aswell as having really lush recipes that are very easy to follow and are cheap to make !!
Make sure you know how many calories you should be eating and drink lots of water....and don't stress out :)
One other thing don't see it as a diet but as a lifestyle change as I think the more you think of been on a diet you add pressure to yourself which really isn't needed ....Goodluck and make sure you come on here for a natter :):)

Hi Charlotte you are definately in the right place for support, I joined a week ago and have had so much support and great advice from lovely people that know exactly what they are doing/saying. Best advice I have had so far was to join MyFitnessPal.com, it is wonderful to just input what you eat and what exercise you have done and let it calculate everything for you, fantastic for keeping track of your fat%, carbs, calories etc. So glad I found this site )
