Hey guys. Well. Decided to do some exercise today on the exercise bike and cycles bout 6 miles over 30 mins. Didn't go too fast, just a nice comfortable pace.
Prob is think i've over done it. Had a bar straight after and had a ltr of water during. Had 2 packs and a bar and 3 ltrs of water so far today but I'm feeling a bit lightheaded and nauseous.
How much do you think is too much?
I did 15 mins last time and felt fine, but didn't fel like I'd acheived anything.

Well you're not getting many calories so if you're not used to that level of exercise then maybe it was just a bit much. Maybe stay with 15 mins for the first few times, then 20, then 25 etc. Build it up slowly so your body doesn't go OMG WTF ARE YOU DOING TO ME? I'm sure you'll be fine! There's also some great non-aerobic exercise you can do, such as pilates, which builds muscle tone without raising your heart rate/burning calories much.

I go to the gym 3 times a week during my lunch hour and do 20 mins on the stepper and 10 mins on the bike. I don't feel lightheaded but i do feel like ive got a lack of energy :/ my LL councellor did warn me though i might feel lightheaded and to be careful x

I think everyone must be different and you should listen to your own body, I go to the gym 5 times a week, sometimes do gentle classes like yoga, sometimes swim and sometimes do circuit training which is quite intense. The only thing I struggle with is sit ups on the stability ball which makes me dizzy but I think that's more the motion than anything else. You don't need to burn calories on lighter life as your intake is already v low so maybe focus on strengthening and core work? I keep telling myself to do that but it's hard not to add cardio when you are used to doing it, I don't feel I am working hard enough if I'm not sweating!

I have just joined my friend in doing the 30 day shred. It takes 30 minutes and I am very tired now! I did not do the whole 30 minutes the first time but I am better than yesterday so each day should improve. I do think you should not push your body to the limit when exercising on this diet as your calorie intake is so low so do what feels best for you.
I can recommend this work out! x

it's been mentioned on other boards here. i think it's an exercise dvd.

Hello, It is by Jillian Michaels and you do it for thirty days going up a level every 10. I have only done it twice but my friend has been doing it for nine days and you can really notice the difference! She swears by it now!! I did day 2 yesterday and it was not as bad as the first time so hopefully I will be better today! x
