Newbie looking for help

Hi all

I'm a newbie looking for some advice on lipotrim please.

I haven't been the pharmacy yet to start but I have so many questions before I go!!

I have a BMI of 43 and have been trying to diet for the last 6 months to loose some weight before I go on holiday at the end of June this year without success

How long can you be on the Lipotrim for? I have four months before I go but would like to be maintaining for three to four weeks before I go so would three months on lipotrim be too long?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks :)

You can stay on Lipotrim until you get to a 'healthy' BMI category i.e. less than 25. There are people on here who have done this for months and months. I'm intending to be on it for 4-5 months myself. Good luck with it all.

Hi, lipotrim is a great diet and I can't speak more highly of it. I did the diet for 2 months, and only stoped as i lost my job and couldn't afford it. I have tried a million other diets and this is the only one that has ever worked for me, it takes out all the options and allows me to feel in control. I would recommend going to the pharmacy whilst your in such a possitive mind frame. it can change ur life. good luck! look forward to hearing how you get on with it xx

My advice? Go for it......get your ar8e down to the pharmacy right away and get stuck in! We can help you with any queries cos, and I might be generalising here, the pharmacists aren't that knowledgeable or even helpful.....

To get you on your way, if you have a day or so before you propose to start, then cut right back on carbs whilst you can, ie eat mainly protein from now on, it'll make it easier to get into ketosis. Speaking of which, google ketosis!

Get posting and set yourself up a ticker to record your ongoing weight loss and, when you get some more signature space, set up some mini goals and plan to tick them off as you achieve them!

Fail to plan and plan to fail is my motto....so in this respect you need to realise that you can't carry on your social life like you do at present. So clear your diary for at least a month whilst you get stuck in to the diet and get a routine, focus on your holiday and how much better you will feel when you're at least 3 stone lighter which, depending on your starting weight, is entirely possible!

Lastly, good luck! X

Thanks for the advice everyone!! :grouphugg:
Next question, how much does it cost? Do they sign you up there and then or do they need to get your GPs permission?

I'm planning to get to the pharmacy next week. I have a big works do on the 11th March and I'm part of the organising committee for it so really don't want to miss it. But as soon as it over I'll be down there!!

I think a lot of that depends on where you live. Mine costs £36 a week. I went in a couple of days before to borrow the DVD which is £5 deposit. It's not brilliant but answers loads of questions and helped me to focus and prepare myself mentally until I could start. The pharmacy just go through a short questionnaire on any health problems and start you off then and there. I don't think you need any GP referral. Best of luck. Let us know how you get on. ;)

I'm in Cardiff and I pay 36 pounds a week too. And no, I didn't have to consult a doctor. They signed me up straight away after I'd completed the questionnaire.
