Started this morning just wondering bout the water intake i think it says 4 pints does anyone know what that is in liters and is your shakes included in that thanx x;)

2 litres and no shakes arent included in it.
Are you returning to tfr lilly, i remember you from a while back.

hay yes am returning finally how have you been are you still on lt hows it going

Nope, not on lt anymore i have been maintaining for 15months now. Its hard going at times.

How come you are back, to lose more or did you gain some?
Good luck with it, its defo harder the 2nd time around!x

I gained loads of weight coz i nroke my leg and then i got pregnant 3 months later weigh 14st so got 4 AND a half to lose was looking at your baking pictures and do you know when you put the buttercream on the fairy cakes do you have to put them in the fridge i mean does the buttercream go harder or does it stay like that soft? lol if you understand wot i mean

LOL! Know exactly what you mean. I make the buttercream up then put it in the fridge for a bit to get it a bit firmer then decorate the cakes. I never fridge cakes, sponge from the fridge just isnt right so yes, the buttercream will get softer when theyre not in the fridge and theyre meant to be like that :)

Hi Summergurl, I went to your albums to look at your baking pictures. LOL. Looked at your weight loss journey while I was there. Totally inspiring. Do you mind telling how tall you are? I'm trying to gauge what final weight I should be aiming for. Thanks.

I am 5'2 chick.
I'm still classed as obese and still carry a podge but i don't take any notice of the bmi crap, i think its pants!!! :rotflmao:

Thanks for that. You look fab in your pictures. I've put down 10st 7lbs as my target but I'm going to be 50 in December and don't want to look gaunt so might be happy when I get to 11st or even 11st 7lbs. It was Catherine Deneuve who said that after 40 a woman has to choose between her face and her arse - I'm choosing my face; IMHO it's always been prettier than my arse!

I'm with Catherine Deneuve on that one too!! Once you reach a certain age, losing too much weight might make some of us look like old crones!!! Not a good look and not one I have aspired too so am happy at the weight I've reached. Tanya is right the BMI can be a crap measurement depending on your build.

It's a difficult one! If I take off the weight of my hip replacement I'm about 10 1/2 stone, I'm so close to being a size 10 (some of my 12's are a bit roomy) that it's tempting to try and get there 'properly'...... but all my friends, my OH and my sister reckon that I'm thin enough as I am. Would I be able to sustain it? Will my boobs just disappear? I guess it's all very well looking great from behind but I don't want people to be horrified when I turn around and they see my face:eek:

It seems a bit mean to say it but the one thing I feel good about when compared to my sister, who is a stick, is that everyone thinks she is older than me, which she's not. I'm sure that's because she looks so scrawny round her neck and has quite few more lines than me. I want to be slimmer, because weight does age you, but I don't want to go so far that it ages my face. It's a fine line which is why I don't want to get too hung up on being a certain weight. Frankly, at my age, I'd be happy to to fit comfortably into size 14s but if I can go lower and still look OK I will.
