Apology explained

yea thats it exactly Red Riding Hood, I do get annoyed when weight loss companies make billions and billions of pounds out of people like us, and cannot even be bothered to check that the information they print is correct, if I did that in my job I would be in a whole heap of trouble.

Of course they bother to check before publications go to print but mistakes happen! When you think how many products are listed in the syn directory I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.

But doesnt it happen quite often on SW and WW for that matter, manufacturers change the ingredients in things quite often, or change pack sizes and unfortunately it means the books are out of date straight away. Theres no way round that, all SW can do is print it as it is at the time but theres nothing to say it wont change.

My sister in law has been caught out several times (Marshalls Macaroni being the most recent) but its not something that can really be avoided.

And as Circes says mistakes happen.

Oh yes, syn values change all the time so the directory is likely out of date before it even reaches the shelf.

If I remember rightly this particular mistake was that these sausages were showing as free in one publication and synned in another, and that they were in fact synned.

yea that is absolutly right and i totally agree we do all make mistakes but if I was raking in billions and billions of pounds i would try and minimise thouse mistakes, they could even do monthly updates in their magazines rather that change the directory more often, but i do think it is bad practice, only my opinion of course but like everyone else i am entitled to it.

I believe they do updates in each magazine, but well done for noticing it ;)
