I need to shop agian this weekend..
I'm thinking about poppin out now to the 24hr Tesco and doing it now..
failing that I'm also considering ordering online for delivery as that would stop me impulse buying stuff that's not good for me like kit kats...

how do you do yours and do any of you shop in the wee small hours...?

could work either way you'll spend less and be less tempted to buy what you dont need or on the other hand you might pick up some good bargains in the reduced sections

i always try to go shopping after eating, saves being tempted by sweets etc I love shopping late as its soo quiet and less stressful. I always see the walk around as exercise too, if you go to a large shop it amazing how many steps you take :) best to make a list of what you need and if you fancy a kit kat save your syns in the day and buy one to have after you finish your shopping so you can enjoy it guilt free.

not much..
they were out of half of the frozen stuff I went for but I did come back with the following..

2 bags frozen prawns
2 bags value frozen cauliflower florets
2 bags frozen fruit coctail
2 tins heinz spag hoops
1 tin mixed bean salad ( for SS soup making )
1 tin green lentils ( more SS soup stuff )
1 bag stir fry vegetables, fresh
2 bags trimmed leeks
2 large white cabages
1 pack youngs seafood sticks
1 tin grapefruit segments in juice
2 punnets of nectarines
1 punnet of value closed cup mushrooms
1 jar mixed pickles ( cauliflower, onions, gherkin, chili's )

i go shopping at asda after finishing work at 9pm do it at this time deliberately as know my dog Darcy will be waiting for her walk . rushing round stops me throwing treats in the trolley as I've lost weight she's put it on at least one of us is happy lol

well done, you were very controlled, not a kitkat in sight. i did try an online shop last week but i have to say i wouldnt have chosen the fruit that they chose and the bacon wasnt what i'd pick up. they didnt include my lamb mince so i ended up going out anyway grrrrrrrr! glad you got the ss soup stuff i can never get the green lentils in a tin!

i do online everyweek, do find it easier than going shopping, but, do get certain things out of home bargins:D

That's why I've been reluctant to try online, you never know what kind of rubish they'll try and palm off on you and then there's the hasle of refusing to accept it and the poor delivery guy getting all the bad attitude etc..

I've found it at tesco and asda, but I never found any green lentils at sainsburys for some reason..

THANKS XX

I live in the centre of town, so Farmfoods, Aldi and Home Bargains are just over the road from me, and they are where I do the majority of my shopping :)

Anything major I get from Morrisons, usually once a week max, often less. I tried the online shopping thing, but I do like a good nosey round the reduced section, and do prefer to choose my own fruit, veg, yoghurt etc.

I use Ocado for home delivery, they are excellent. I don't have any experience in several years of being palmed off (even when previously using Tesco), they have no need to, as they want your return custom. Ocado very rarely substitute, and any returns are simply refunded......no hassle and no attitude! :D
