Hi everyone!

I have just started weight watchers and am enjoying it so far! I am however finding it difficult to eat all the points I am given!

Do you need to eat all of your daily points or is anyone losing weight still by eating less??

Any other new members on here want to buddy up??

xx

I've been on ww for a couple of weeks and hardly ever eat my points I'm on 29 but everyone on here say that you must eat them all so now if I have some at nite I have ryvita or ww crisps!!!
Ive lost a stone and have half to go till my holiday in 3 weeks I'm never gonna do it but will try!
Good luck with your loss xxxxx

When I first started I found it really difficult to eat all the points, and I was eating something like 12 - 14 points a day (discovery). But after a few weeks you start to get use to it and start choosing foods which make up all your points. :)

Good luck. :)

If your body gets used to you eating say 25pp rather than 29pp per day over the course of a few weeks/months, its gonna be a lot harder when you actually WANT to use your points, and your weight may plateau. It might not too, but that's a risk you have to take.

It's worth planning your day in advance, I find that makes it easier for me to use all my points! (i'm on flippin 45pp per day!) At the beginning its hard, but once you get used to the system, you develop your "points vocabulary" and you soon start finding nice food to fill your day :p

@uk-dancer: i do not know how on earth you managed on so few points on discover!! haha

I agree wit you in everything. Of course you can eat less, but it'll be more difficult when you will need more points and you might plateau because your metabolism has decreased.

PS: I too was using 12/14 points on discover, it's easily achievable if you eat a lot of veg!

Hi Kelly, I have just started too, and am finding it tough to eat all my points, but I am managing to get through the 29 a day. The 49 weekly ones though, I just don't know what to do with them as I don't need them! I have always been a small eater, my weight gain has been completely down to eating the wrong foods, full of fat and white carbs.
