One Year and One Day.......

Its been one year and one day since I started the Cambridge Diet.

I have been at goal (or thereabouts) since November last year.

I have discovered many things along the way, new friends, new food, and a whole new way of life.

I just wanted to put a note on here of one of the things I thought about.

It took me 18 years to diet, but 5 months to get the weight off.

Something can be done about weight, and it can be kept off.

Along the way I discovered Minimins, and to everyone on here, keep at it, for a few short weeks or months out of your life, you can be who you want to be.

Losing weight doesnt automatically change your life, but it goes a long way in helping to.

Good luck to everyone, and before you put the food in your mouth, think, do I want this, and the guilt that comes after, or do I want it in moderation when I am slim and happy, and can enjoy it????

Life isnt going to go away whilst doing CD, trust me, I know how it feels, I know the fear, the longing, the stress, and everything else that comes with SSing.

But I know the happiness, the fun, and the clothes shopping, that comes with being slim, and I know what i would choose.

I moderate some sections of this site, and for me, to moderate CD and VLCD's is such an honour, we are a fast moving site, and I miss many things, but I'm always here, as are the other fab moderators, super mods and admins, not forgetting all the members, and without you all, we wouldnt have such a fab place to go for weight loss support x

Love to all

Hi, wow that's brilliant that you've lost the weight and managed to maintain your weight for such a long time, i'm hoping that will be me in the near future!!! i'm new to this site and am looking to start the Cd on friday but i've been told i can only start on the 1200 plan due to being on anticoagulants, how much can i expect to lose on this as everyone seems to be on the sole source plan lol

Vicky, how lovely your message to us all is, you are such and inspiration to us. I have seen your pictures about the sight, probably on the before and after thread, you have done amazing and you look totally fabulous. Your words of encouragement will stay with me, I am going to copy and print it and put it on my wall next to my p.c. and maybe in my kitchen ON MY FRIDGE LOL !!! :D Thanks for the encouraging message. We are all so pleased for you.

Thanks Hun, I think maybe a loss of 2 to 3lbs per week would be ok on the 1200 plan, but the great thing is you get all your vitamins from the daily pack/s that you have.
