I want to be slim more than I want food

This is what I tell myself when I'm tempted...... What other "mantras" do people say to themselves to help at tough moments?

I repeatedly remind myself not to 'give up what i want long term for what i want in the moment' and it works for me :)

"My gallstones will kill me" - the couple of times Ive cheated Ive paid for it, such bad pain!!

"I want and need to be slim, I can eat sensibly again once Im at goal"

"Fat, fat, fat, fat, fat"

"Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels" It's an old one I know but how true it is!

Last night I dug out the pair of black size 10 jeans I wore the day I met my husband. I held them up against me and decided I WILL fit into those again. They look tiny though, the waist next to mine is miniscule! lol.

So now every time I'm tempted I'm going to look at those jeans!

same as mocha, 'nothing tastes as good as slim feels' it's so true.

I also have some of my slim clothes close to hand, also some new ones that I bought with the hope that I could wear them one day.

The goal I've set myself for the 12th October is what's keeping me going....

I was also doing a lot of women watching yesterday at kids indoor play area and thinking, yes I'd like her figure or her figure or her figure.... just not my own.....:D

I'm just unhappy I suppose and don't want the pains in the knee anymore and the lower back ache when I get up in the morning - especially if I've slept on my front....

I do also keep thinking of the clothes I want to get and the shops I want to be able to go in - and I've got an outfit in mind I want to get into on the 12th Oct...

LOL, I do mantras a lot!

One is "You know what 'X' tastes like, you don't know what being slim feels like"

The other is "I'll be joining you....25th September.." (if colleagues are eating something that I would love to eat, I say the above as that will be when I finish foundation of LL - although in reality it will be December before I can join them when my 12 weeks of management are up)

The other one if I don't have a massive loss at weigh-in is "oh well xxlbs in x weeks, I'd never have done that at weight watchers" to put the weight loss into perspective

I like that one too .... any others, anyone?
