Stupid Question ref EE

Hi everyone, I'm new to this and only a couple of days in so bear with me and the stupid questions.

I know that on EE you need to have your plate 1/3 full with superfree foods, fine I get that, when you follow a SW mag recipe which says it's free on EE does that mean the veg is in the recipe or do they still assume you have the 1/3 rule going. Because the one I'm looking at says serve with SW chips but no mention of anything else?

Also, if it's 0 syns and I'm still hungry can I have some more if it says it serves 4??

Sorry! dumb I know.

I've never thought of that, I'm gonna ask my consultant at tonights weigh in, thanks for putting that thought in my head.

Look carefully at the photo - there's usually a bowl of salad or veg in the background to make up the superfree!

I noticed that in a few recipes in the magazine this month!

What ever you are having or whichever recipe you are following, the advice is to have a 1/3 of your plate as superfree foods.

You can have as big a portion as you need of the free foods, so long as you are not eating to the point of being unable to move and are making sure a 1/3 of that plate is superfree foods.

What that does is balances out your plate so you are not overindulging on the non superfree foods which although are still free, have the higher calorie value.

Whatever's in the recipe counts towards your superfree tally so if it's 1/3 then all good otherwise you need to have it as a side. HTH x
