Someones trying to sabotage me.....

However, i dont think its intentional. Yesterday, my supervisor sent me to Burger King to get his tea. I had eaten all my points and was absolutely starving but as it was the night before wi, i resisted....

Today, not only have i once again been sent to Burger King, but another colleague has thoughtfully bought a pack of 14 doughnuts from Sainsburys for me and left them on my desk.......

Once again, i am absolutely starving, but i refuse to give in this time, I dont want to put the 2lb i lost this morning back on again now, do I?? LOL!:D

how come your starving??? i find i'm not hungry at all but sometimes eat them cause there nice:D

If people know your on a diet it's just cruel and unfair! Dont give them the satisfaction of giving in! Is there a staff area you can put the donuts in and share the greasy, fatty donuts! (aversion therapy lol). Nothing tastes as good as losing weight and being healthy and happy feels :) x x

thats not very fair of them:( why not wrap a couple up & put in the bin! that way they will think you have ate them but you know you havnt :D

Hi
Im starving because of boredom. It only happens on late turns though. I think its because i eat everything i bring in with me 2 hours after starting work so that by lunchtime, theres nothing left.

However, i was good, wasnt going to let my 2lb loss this week be a distant memory, lol! As for getting their own food, unfortunately, if there is no supervisor to cover the station whilst the other one gets his food, then he doesnt eat basically. I dont mind getting it, after all, its a bit of exercise, its just i have to have the willpower of a brick, lol!!

Today, i am going to try and keep my sandwiches and goodies stashed away in the bag for as long as i can. Ive eaten 2 quorn crispy fillets and a box of micro chips for lunch and so far, i dont feel hungry. Heres hoping.....

Do they know about your Weightwatchers membership?? If they do that's disgusting behaviour... maybe they don't realise they are doing it... some people can be thoughtless without meaning anything bad.

I have a workmate like that, (she's as thick as ****) and she buys dohnuts and things to try and distract me from my goal. I'm starting to get very snappy with her as she won't get it through to her thick skull despite me (and another guy) trying to cut out rubbish!!

I know for a fact that she's just hideously jealous that she can't keep to a diet, and she's getting big fat muffins over her "too small size 10 really should be 14" jeans =P She's quick to moan that she's putting on weight yet will do not a bit about it.

Totally agree pudnpie ! Have learnt the hard way and now don't tel people I'm dieting and just use reasons like "not really hungry, thanks" or "just not right now ta" and then no one pushes the matter. As soon as they know the real reason its all "don't be silly, it's not gonna do any harm - everything in moderation you know'". It's amazing the effect it can have on people!

Unfortunately, it seems the only person to sabotage me WAS me :(. Had eaten all my food last night, went for a walk through the shopping centre and back, got near enough back to my office, then went into the shop next door..... 2 Egg Mayo sandwiches, 2 galaxy caramel bars and a Caramac bar, and a bag of Doritos and a bag of McCoys found there way into my mouth, oops! I dont know why i did it, i wasnt hungry, i could tell i was full up when i ate the first sandwich, but i still managed to eat the lot!

Today, I am back to normal, although i have just realised i have forgotten to pack my soup!!

Hopefully..... Ive input all of yesterdays naughties into the tracker and it has left me potless weeklies wise - not good when youve still got 5 days to go! Ive put down my 10 minute dog walkies from Saturday, Sunday and today that i have done (I dont usually bother, shows how desperate i really am), that takes my weeklies back down to -1, and i am hoping to finally go to the gym tomorrow, my first visit in 3 months although i wont be earning too many AP's due to having to wean myself gently back into exercising...

Tonight, i have been a good girl. Forgot to pack my soup for lunch, so went for a walk to Sainsburys and bought an 8 pack of their low cal soups. (Although my head was screaming BURGERS!!) Just had a carrot n coriander one (tasted foul, lol!) and put the rest in my drawer for emergencys. Dont want to get caught out like that again, lol!

Thats good idea, think i shall follow suit

try taking lots of low point or zero point snacks to work with you so that if you are eating out of pure boredom you can still do that and stay on track - once you get used to eating like that you can then work on breaking the habit :)

As for the donuts on my desk - I think that I'd take them back to whoever left them there and tell them that you really appreciate it but you have cut them out at the moment. You can tell them you are dieting if you want or that you are eating more healthily ... I found one friend used to always make delicious deserts when I went to hers and pressure me to eat them but then wouldn't have any herself. In the end I told her I didn't want any, she dished me some up anyway and when she put it in front of me I pushed it slightly away from me and didn't eat any of it. She got the message after that.

Another friend who would be worse if I ever mentioned dieting I manipulated slightly by telling her I'd been diagnosed with the start of type II diabetes and was struggling to get my head round the diet changes so needed as much help and support as I could get. Weirdly if you tell someone its because of your health they back off - well it kind of is because by losing the weight I'm cutting my risk :) I felt bad lying to her as I should have just told her that I didn't want it as otherwise she'll carry on sabotaging other people but with that one it just wasn't worth the battle.

Good luck and hope the rest of the week goes well for you :)
