Anyone else found this?

Firstly I'd just like to say hi to everyone, this is my first time on the forum having only just discovered it!!

I'm on week 2 of my LighterLife Lite plan (4 days into wk2) and I had a really good weightloss of 8lbs in my first week. However, and I know weighing myself in between weigh days in bad, but I've weighed this morning and lost nothing this week...

Feeling a bit miserable as I've stuck to it 100% despite really craving junk this week, but I would have thought I'd of least lost a pound by now in week 2.

Has anyone else not lost anything/much during week 2?

Thanks,

Hughesy x

Hey and welcome :)

Funny I lost 8bs myself in the first week, was quite surprised actually considering the weight loss isn't as fast as total :p

I wouldn't know about knowing how much I weighed during my second week because I am a serial weigher and my LLC gave me strict orders, not to use anyone's scales but the groups, so I don't have a choice lol.

I do know that I lost 3.7lbs at the end of the week at group, which hopefully will be my average. As the weeks go on we will lose less since we weren't as big to begin with like those on Total. So just keep doing what your doing and everything should be fine :)

Thanks for the advice, I must admit I'm a serial weigher too, I think I've got to hide the scales!!

Have u stuck to the plan 100%? I went a little off track today and I'm hoping I haven't done too much damage!

Thanks again x

No worries sweets, the constant weighing is such a bad habit I find, for me it isn't healthy. Best thing to do is to get someone else to hide them, that's what I asked my little sister to do but I found them again lol. But I managed to avoid them and refuse to use them, quite proud of myself for that even though it's just a tiny triumph :p

I have stuck to the plan 100% so far even though it gets harder and harder the closer I get to goal, I'm just impatient like that :p

Because cheating or eating something that is not on the list will bring you out of ketosis and comming out of ketosis is hard to get back into at times.

In what way did you go off track? if it was something little then don't worry about it, having said that best not to worry even if it was bad. Tomorrow is another day just bring yourself back up again :)

Well today was going all good until I went out for lunch and had steak and chips (complete with tomato ketchup!!) I feel really bad as I know I'm going to have to get back into ketosis now. I'm angry at myself and just hope I haven't done to much damage. :( apart from this one set back I've been giving it 100%...

The chips would have definately taken you out of ketosis but tomorrow is another day :)

Just try again and don't be too hard on yourself, we all make mistakes, you've learnt from it now carry on. Be sure to raise it up when you go to group, I'm sure the talk will help you to overcome this situation xx

I did total and never weighed myself during abstinance but I started to during RTM as I was eating and I stopped doing it after 3 weeks as I found out that I would gain 1lb one day and the next day I would be 2lb down and so on, even if I weighed at the same time. Weight goes up and down throughout the week as well as throughout the day.

I also found that I lost weight in the last 2/3 days of the week and none at the beginning. I'm not sure if it was the same when I was on total or not but it was probably similar.

Anyway my point is as long as you follow plan avoid the scales at all costs and just stick to the LL weigh in. If you follow the plan it will work.

Hi Hughesy, well done on your first week...8lbs is a great start! I confess I am a serial weigher! However, I have learned not to get disheartened if it reads a 1lb or 2 more than the last day. My weight can go up and down as the others here have advised.

Do you think you would have eaten the chips at lunch if the scales had shown a good loss this morning? If you think you wouldn’t, then maybe its time to hide those scales! :)

Yes I think ure right! Had I have seen a weightloss I wouldn't have eaten the chips!! It's stupid really when I think about it. Well I'm happily back on the lighter life wagon today and I've hidden the scales so no more weighing!!!

Thanks for the advice guys x
